‼️Music Fiends Turns 5 Today! 🎉
Five years ago today, I woke up with the name Music Fiends stuck in my head. I figured there was no way that domain was actually available. It was. So naturally, I made an impulse buy…then built an entire music site around it 😂.

Here we are five years later… still shooting shows, interviewing bands, writing about the music we love, and finding new reasons to stand in front of dangerously loud speakers and wreck our ears. 🤘

A massive thank you to Justin, my sidekick, our Wisconsin head honcho, and a huge part of Music Fiends. I’m incredibly grateful for him! We make a killer team and work so well together.

And to all of our contributors… thank you! Music Fiends is better because it isn’t just one voice, one city, one genre, or one point of view. Everyone brings their own taste, style, and perspective to what we do…and that’s exactly how I hoped this site would be. (There are several I can’t find to tag on IG, apologies!)

Thank you to every musician who has let us into their world for an interview, stepped in front of our cameras, or trusted us to tell the story of their show.

A huge shoutout to all of the publicists and tour managers who keep saying yes to our requests. We appreciate the hell out of you!

Lastly, a huge thank you to everyone who supports Music Fiends… our family and friends, social media friends and followers, everyone who reads our reviews, checks out our photos, shares our posts, or just helps spread the word about what we’re doing. You’ve helped this little idea I had become something much bigger. Thanks for being along for the ride. 🖤 Stick around…we’re only 5! 😂🤷‍♀️

Post three. Not the leftovers, think of this as raking the corners of the field to get every last bale into the barn.

A marathon 18-hour day at Lambeau produces way more than just the box score hits. It is the chaos in the stands, the familiar faces running the sidelines, rows of heavy glass locked in on the action, and the quick breather on the turf before the long drive home.

Huge shoutout to the crew on the field and the fans who kept the energy at a ten from warmups to the final whistle.

Swipe through for the sights, the sidelines, and the chaos behind the lens! 🏟️📸☘️🧀

Madison, are you back in the atmosphere yet?! 🌜✨ It was a magical night this past Saturday at Breese Stevens Field with Train, Barenaked Ladies and Matt Nathanson.

Last Friday capped my time with a club that served as an endless easel for the last 8 years of my life.

Extremely grateful for my family’s love and patience through the long seasons, and for the friends I made who became family. It’s been an honor to create for a community that supports its club through every high and low.

Truly thankful for everything — and beyond excited for what’s next at LeMans and @parts_unlimited.

madison was already buzzing, but once Magnolia Park, Silly Goose, and PINKNOISE hit Majestic Theater, the whole night went off the rails. PINKNOISE opened with serious momentum, Silly Goose turned the floor into absolute mayhem, and Magnolia Park sealed it with a massive headline set packed with VAMP favorites, surprise moments, and nonstop crowd energy. Madison wasted no time at The Sylvee: Split Chain kicked things off with “Fade” and “Subside,” Four Year Strong had the entire floor shouting through “We All Float Down Here” and “Brain Pain,” and The Devil Wears Prada set it off with “Danger: Wildman” before ripping through a set that pulled from across their catalog. Pits opened up, bodies collided, and the crowd stayed all in from start to finish.

Madison got loud and downright filthy as Sanguisugabogg ripped through the historic Majestic Theatre with support from Suffering, World I Hate, and Enervate. No barricade, no breathing room - just a packed floor, nonstop crowd surfers, and a pit that never let up. Death metal inside a 120-year-old theater shouldn’t work this well… but somehow, it hit even harder. Review and photo galleries live on MusicFiends.com.

Milwaukee never stood a chance. Orbit Culture stormed the basement of The Rave/Eagles Club and turned the Rave 2 stage into a full-blown warzone, backed by crushing sets from Ov Sulfur and Atlas. From the first breakdown to the final note, the room pulsed with chaos - circle pits spinning, bodies flying, and riffs hitting like a sledgehammer. Intimate, loud, and absolutely unhinged, this was melodic death metal at its most primal… and Milwaukee felt every second of it. Review and photo galleries live on MusicFiends.com.

Testament brought the Titans of Thrash tour to Milwaukee with Destruction and Overkill, packing The Rave with generations of metal fans ready for a full night of speed, precision, and volume. From Destruction’s relentless opener to Overkill’s locked-in attack and Testament’s career-spanning set, this lineup didn’t let up for a second. Three bands, decades deep, still delivering at full force - Milwaukee showed up, and the legends matched it note for note.
