I’m really lucky and grateful to have the privilege to be able to attend these conventions all around the nation. For the last 5 years it has become my vacation / down time each year as I have slowly added more and more events. I am not an influencer & don’t really consider myself a “content creator” although others may disagree. I am just a passionate fan, collector, husband, educator that has been lucky enough to use social media to build a big beautiful network of people from all over the world that love the same things I do! All I ever want to do is create things that continue to bring that out and to show people that collecting, media, anime it’s all about community and love. I have been attending local conventions since all the way back in 2011 can you believe that?? In the early 2000’s we got a lot of smoke for being a nerd - the growth of love around my favorite things has been one of my greatest joys as an adult & as an educator to get to share that love with the next generation and to see how much young folk have come to love anime, manga, comics as much I do and to finally be able to do it so openly and passionately.

Cheers to my first ever full weekend at New York Comic Con (I dipped my toes in last year with a little 1.5ish day trip). This is the first event I have ever done not just one BUT 3 videos in collaboration with companies on the floor. I’m so so so grateful to all 3 of them for seeing the joy & the passion that I bring to collecting the things I love and letting me be a part of it. Additionally to my friends that did so much to help me this year!!

@popstop_nyc & @thunder1456 for helping me with the only pops I got to bring home 😭Funko pops & green lantern & One Piece literally mean the world to me and I am crying just thinking about this.

@theonepiececouple for being the sweetest New York guides for me this year you alls company & support this weekend just means so much to me.

@itsjustjames19 & @ryespops for always helping me understand & connecting me with other collectible companies that I can create content with seriously wouldn’t have any collabs without you two!

That’s a wrap for me at NYCC this year! I’m still trying to process the weekend I just had, but it was such a fun time. It was only my second time ever going, and it was even better than the first!
