I am nothing but grateful for this wonderful experience and opportunity to be apart of the Birmingham Youth Leadership Forum!!! I have nothing but love and respect for each and every person who was either apart of this class or helped with YLF in anyway!!! I cannot believe it is already over but I am beyond grateful that it happened!!! Thank you to each and every member of this YLF class! You have ALL taught me invaluable lessons that I would have never learned anywhere else! You made me feel loved and like I was apart of a family! I LOVE YALL SO MUCH!!!💖

I am so thankful to God for allowing me this opportunity!!! Not many of you know this but, one random day in the fall I was thinking about the fact that I wish there was a place where group of people around my age that were leaders in there respective communities that could come together and learn different leadership skills through events and could over all really learn from each other. I prayed about it to God that night and honestly forgot about it. Exactly a month later my parents and I received an email from my school counselors encouraging all sophomores and juniors to apply for the Birmingham Youth Leadership Forum. I immediately looked it up and was shocked when I realized that this was almost exactly what I had prayed about exactly a month ago and teared up because it was such a clear sign of God’s presence in my life!!! I obviously applied and after going to my interview I was so filled peace no matter the outcome because I had stepped out in faith and it wasn’t up to me anymore. I have no words to express the joy I felt after getting the email that had made it! God has blessed me richly through this program and these people!!! ❤️❤️❤️

I have NEVER been PROUDER to say I am from Birmingham, Alabama!!!

Birmingham Youth Leadership Forum Opening Retreat 2023

I just had the most amazing 2 days filled with the best people possible!!! I met so many wonderful people and created relationships that I know will last me a lifetime!!! If you know me you know that I LOVE taking pictures but something that was very important to this reatreat is that we were not on our phone which I honestly enjoyed a lot! Here is a few pictures that I took with some of my new favorite people! God has truly blessed me with the opportunity to be part of this outstanding group of teenagers. I love all of these people so much and I just met them!!!
