Discussing my 3rd song on the Setlist for Wednesday @rgrsdentontx called Goth Rehead & the Princess at the 7-Eleven. It is about Scarlett and Evelyns encounter and love at first sight 2 hours before they see each other again and Evelyn(the Princessy one) makes a move. It’s inspired by an encounter I had with a redhead in April 2025 and we were staring and smiling at each other but I was so traumatized by an ex who dumped me in 2024 that I headed for the chip aisle. Evelyn in the story of Scarlett and Evelyn also had a very toxic ex in the end named Tessa which is why she heads for the chip aisle too in May 1993(4 years and 3 months before I was born. My birthday is august 28 1997) but when she gets a second chance at college orientation 2 hours later she makes a move and lesbian fate is sealed. But this song is capturing only the moment of them thinking they won’t see each other again though 2 hours later they didn’t know they would. #denton #dentoning #dentonmusic #dentonmusicscene #dentonmusician #dentonmusicians #dfwmusic #dfwmusicscene #dfwmusicians #queermusic #queermusicians #queermusician #rubberglovesrehearsalstudios
