SUCH EXCITING PROGRESS! Make sure you get yourself down to @Schuh Manchester to see the fantastic installation of art and to learn about the brilliant work @butterflyfutureltd are doing for the community 🤌🏾🌱✅🌻☺️

Feeling so lucky to have been involved in such a fantastic opportunity to display some amazing black talent in my home town! I've walked down market street for many years and not once did I ever imagine this was a possibility!

Thankyou so much to @tabigazele for the opportunity with @blackcreativetrailblazers to do my first commissioned work as the
@thetriagebotanist

Onwards and upwards! 👏🏾👏🏾🤌🏾

LeeLaa is a Manchester-born, emerging artist described as seriously unserious and genre-defying. She dishes out a few hard to swallow pills through her music — the truth hurts sometimes, but it will set you free.

Blxdes, also known as Miss B, is an R&B artist inspired by the smooth, soulful sound of ‘90s and Y2K R&B, blended with a modern edge. She writes honest, emotional music drawn from her own experiences with love, heartbreak, healing and self-discovery.

For her, music is about creating something real that people can connect with, making listeners feel seen, understood, and less alone. She continues to grow as an artist while developing a sound that feels uniquely her own. She has been featured on BBC Introducing and named “R&B’s newest standout singer-songwriter” by Unity Radio.

Shaujat is a Pakistani singer-songwriter from Manchester creating vocal-driven R&B music inspired by artists such as SZA, Summer Walker and Giveon. He blends emotional honesty with soulful vocals, exploring themes of vulnerability and self-discovery.

As a British Pakistani artist, he aims to broaden representation within contemporary R&B while making music that feels genuine and relatable. He is currently an emerging artist, sharing covers online and developing his own original music, with a focus on building his artistry and sound.

He recently performed his first live show this year and has begun spending time in the studio, having written a couple of songs so far. In the past, he also performed as part of a choir on a major stage alongside Ariana Grande.

Cold Illumination is an R&B artist and sample creator. He started releasing music in 2019, beginning with lo-fi vocal and guitar ideas before moving into creating samples for producers, one of which was later used on the Grammy Award-winning Hrs & Hrs by Muni Long, which went No.1 on the R&B charts and won a Grammy.

Since then, he has focused on sample creation, drawing inspiration from artists like D’Angel
