Writing this while sitting here on the bench in front of the Ditch Witch in Montauk. Our favorite place in the world; to start, spend and end the day.

It’s been three weeks since my Molly girl passed, peacefully in my arms. Born in Conyers, Georgia—she lived 16 years 2 months and 2 weeks—a true miracle!

I tried for years to prepare for this day, but the void she leaves, physically and in my heart, is deeper than I could have ever imagined.

I am so damn lucky she chose me 🤍🕊️ to have experienced a love and a loyalty like hers. My shadow, my constant. We did it all together, from the time I was 21 years old.

I’ll always be your Mama, Molly girl. I will always love you larger, bigger, than I’ve loved before. And I will always look forward to seeing those blue eyes and white lashes again someday.

Thank God I have all of these joyous memories to keep me company. I love you Molly.

What a magical evening it was. Stepping into this event felt like a mini beach escape @inaracoffeela -the vibes, the energy, the golden-hour glow of it all.

We’re taking over the back patio at @roosterfish_venice for a New York-style pizza night on Abbot Kinney.

Expect pizza from a legit NYC-style spot, pizza trivia, drinks, and good company.

We’re also using the evening as a NYC in LA open house. It’s a chance to meet the host committee, learn how to get more involved, explore leadership opportunities and help shape future events.

NYC in LA Spring Soiree - a first-of-its-kind crossover event between former New Yorkers, Venice Beach locals… and Indonesia.

Why Indonesia? It’s the homeland of Chef Melissa of @thekinn.co, who’s been quietly shaping the menus for our events all year. One night turned into a theme, then a vision, and that vision became a full Indonesian cultural gala in Venice.
