You know what they say… growth usually comes with a new address.

I don’t think people realize how much goes into finding the right space.

It’s easy to look at the finished suite and think, “She found a salon.” But what you don’t see are the phone calls, the tours, the moments where you convince yourself, “Maybe I can make this work,” even when you know it isn’t quite right.

Every suite I walked into made me ask the same question: Can I see Afro Affair here?

Some had beautiful windows.
Some had great locations.
Some checked almost every box.

But “almost” wasn’t enough.

I’ve learned that when you’re building something you genuinely care about, you can’t rush the process just because you’re excited to get to the finish line. Sometimes the hardest part is walking away from something that’s good because you’re waiting for something that feels right.

I’m so excited to finally bring you all along as I build this next chapter of Afro Affair. Thank you for being here, whether you’ve been watching since day one or you just found me today. 🤍
