Introducing The Pinnacle Guide’s A - Z of featured bars. Marcelino’s Boutique Bar, 1 PIN.

This Providence hotel bar is rooted in its owners’ Middle Eastern heritage, and its salvaged décor, signature scent, and cocktail menu are all shaped by that cultural identity. Areas of particular excellence include its Design, Staff Wellbeing, and Community.

Marcelino’s sits within the Omni Hotel, its interior feeling entirely removed from the building that contains it.

The music moves through four deliberate stages across the evening: Mediterranean lounge to open, then Balearic beach, ethnic deep house, and finally organic house as the night develops.

The bar works with Rhode Island’s industry Lyft partnership to provide discounted rides home for staff after late shifts, and collaborates with local newspapers, the Ministry of Tourism, the nearby Convention Center, and the Mayor’s office to maintain strong community ties across Providence.

That tomato sammie was everything. I need to go back for more delights in Providence. Thank you Rhode Island for being super duper. ❤️ The list:

Nitro Bar - obviously had to go here because Hector had never been and then he gets just a watermelon lemonade 🙄 it was good though @thenitrobar_

Irregardless - biscuit breakfast sandwich heaven @irregardlessbiscuit

Tricycle Ice Cream - remember the ice cream taco from the high school cafeteria? This one is elite in comparison. @tricycles.ri

There, There - winners all around, I got the seasonal tomato sandwich and it rocked @therethere_ri

MurMur HiFi Lounge - really cool cocktails, really cool music @murmurhifi

Marcelino’s - this was on our way to WaterFire and we knew from going to the Boston location that it would be amazing and it was @itsmarcelinos

Cafe Ava - Dominican & Guatamalen delightfulness, I keep thinking about that arepa and the matcha was perfect. @cafeavari

Mia Cane - oooooooo these smoothies were the best I’ve ever had for real @miacanejuicery @miacanepvd

@itsmarcelinosbos is a prime destination on the Boston Seaport for dinner and live music ‼️

🍋 Taylor’s Tayke:
Marcelino’s has the kind of atmosphere that works equally well for date night or a group dinner. The space feels lively without being overwhelming, and the menu encourages you to order a few dips, drinks, and larger plates for the table. My favorite way to approach this spot is to come with someone, grab a cocktail, order the hummus, and build the rest of the meal around sharing.

🍋 My Tipsy Tayke:
Get Down & Dirty, Expeditiously: Peach & Honey
This was my favorite drink of the night. Sweet, but still restrained enough that it never became overwhelming.

🍋 My Taysty Tayke:
Get Down & Dirty, Expeditiously: Spicy Hummus
This was one of the easiest dishes to keep reaching for. The hummus was creamy, snackable, and the nuts added a nice contrast in texture. Make sure you get into the pita while it’s still hot because it’s especially soft and satisfying fresh from the table.

Standout: Branzino
Soft, fresh, and large enough to share. It comes whole with the head and bones, so just know what you’re getting into. Definitely squeeze the lemon they provide over the fish because that extra acidity adds a lot more flavor. I also liked pairing bites of the fish with the hummus plate.
