HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH

I’ve long dreamed about the opportunity to do this show, and the jokes i’d tell and how i’d insert my own hailee-isms into the songs, but nothing could’ve prepared me for sheer challenge and immense joy of actually doing the role.

There’s always a looming question in theatre of why to do a show now, and without even realizing at the inception, Hedwig was exactly what I think many of us needed right now. A chance to laugh in a room of complete strangers while also challenging ourselves to examine the story of someone drastically different than ourselves, and learning how to love them in spite of their flaws, differences and the pain they’ve caused and felt.

Matera, Addison, Eli, Leonela, Rey, and Rae thank you so much for your guidance and support, the show could never have been a 10th of what it was without each of you. And i hope each of you know how much I love y’all. 🫶🏻

Max, Ainsley, Eli, William, Allison, George, and Cam, you’re all rockstars and it was an honor to share the stage with each of you. The energy we shared on that stage was one I’ll never forget and always chase 🤘🎸

To Brian, Flora, Teddy, Carly, Sophie, Mak, Ethan, and Caty, thank you guys so much for making everything look and sound so beautiful!!! From the wigs to the set to the costumes to the sound to the lights, everything was a dream come true and that’s a testament to each of your insane talents. 👩‍🎤🎭

To everyone that came, thank you and I love you. And i promise I’ll shut up about Hedwig now.

We are looking for strong storytellers who love to collaborate to help tell this beautiful story!

🗓️ PERFORMANCE DATES: Winter 2027, Weekend 4 (Jan 30th).
Please note that all actors will be expected to attend rehearsals starting WEEK 1 of Winter Quarter.

Actors CAN be cast in both Ordinary Days and Urinetown.
