Let’s be real, you knew what was coming… 😂

The reality of a location shoot/shooting outdoors is that sometimes Mother Nature has other ideas 🥲 but, we tried ✨

And thankfully, due to a really (non)hi-tech plastic covering the camera came out unscathed.

Second time lucky next week 😮‍💨

₊ ⊹ A sea of dreams with @itsmepaigemonroe ⊹ ₊

A shoot that in the end didn’t make the cut, but has always been in the back of my mind. ♡

When I first started studying photography at college I was really interested in surrealism. I still am, but it doesn’t come into my work very much nowadays, but this shoot with Paige dips into that surreal dreamlike world, and it was fun to bring the concept to life. It brings an aspect of storytelling that makes you wonder. The story isn’t obvious, it’s suggestive, giving you space to wonder, think, imagine, dream, and I really like that about it.✨

Last night I attended the premiere of 🌸 Seeds to Bloom 🌸a creative documentary celebrating the history of women in Gosport .

Developed by the ever creative @itsmepaigemonroe, founder of @thetempleofvenushq in the beautiful surroundings of the @theprayinn

This project has clearly been a labour of love from start to finish and I feel so proud of how much has been achieved with passion, dedication and community. Gosport is one lucky town! With such inspirational women then and now.

Thank you all those who visited the Artist Realm last night, a a dreamy magical place inside The Temple of Venus. 🦋🌬️

You all really are so amazing. Everyone was so vulnerable with sharing their talents and also sharing their support. There was lots of tears and so much laughter. There were souls performing for the first time and others sharing works they had they had crafted for a long time. We had musicians, dancers, painters and poets. All so deeply incredibly talented and passionate.

Honestly we are in awe of all of you. Every one so supportive and fun, making the environment an honestly loving place to be in. Thank you all for bringing your kindest selfs and for making tonight what it was. One of our favourite parts was seeing everyone in the fancy dress corner taking photos with their friends old and new. 🥹

TTOV continues to grow and has become a truly unique and special home for so many Women. It’s been a whole year of connecting with you and we are just blown away with how much love there is in this beautiful town, and not just that but the way TTOV has brought people in further afield as they travel down just to come to our events! 😭🫶🏼

We can’t wait for the next Artist Realm, we are thinking September? Autumn Equinox? Or Halloween time….👻 hmm we like the sound of that…

Thank you again to every member of The Temple of Venus, YOU are the community and we are so proud of you all, we are honoured we found each other and you make every event so special. Thank you for celebrating our 1 year anniversary and for also creating the first Artist Realm. 💜

Huge divalicious thank you to @zedzdeadbby for helping us set-up love u queen, and also the volunteers at YourSpace. Thank you to @mayasimpsonphoto for being our fabulous sound tech and the absolutely beautiful photography by our @aliathomasphoto / @brandingbyalia 🫶🏼

Thank you so much to @quayweststudios for equipment support and for @gosportboroughcouncil for making this event possible, bringing together a stronger and deeper community. 🙏

Did you know that 30% of neurons in the human brain are devoted to processing visuals, compared to only a mere 3% on hearing!

I’ve always loved watching music videos, and I think they are more important than what some people give them credit for. We’re such visual beings. When you listen to a song, it’s likely to give you some form of visual in your minds eye, like when you read a book. Visuals add another dimension to a song, another level of understanding.

As I sit and complete a first draft of my latest music video, I’m reminded of how much I love creating them, and how much I enjoy helping build a story, a world, around a song. (Also how little I’ve promoted the ones I’ve done 😅)

If you’re in the market for a music video, or visual content as a whole, drop me an email. I would love to help you. 🙌🏻
