This December I disappeared from Instagram because I was deep in a most life-affirming and heart-enriching experience at the @acroyoga Level I Teacher Training in Bali.

These two weeks of 8 hours in session together each day sent challenge into my life from many different angles and it also deeply filled my cup with some of the most fun types of movement, connection, and play on earth.

Steeping in deep thanks for the new skills and dear friends I’ve picked up here that inspire me to make acro as deep a part of my life as I’ve long dreamed it would be.

I’ve wanted to do an AcroYoga teacher training since I started this profoundly meaningful practice almost 10 years ago and what a victory it is for me, in the long journey of recovery that is my life, to finally become a Certified Teacher 😍

This is why I’ve worked so hard to come back from debilitating injury. This is what makes the years of pain and therapy and continued effort so worth it—that I get to use my body to do cool shit, empower myself and others, and build friendship and community around the world that is based on real human touch and trust. We so fundamentally need these elements in our day to day lives and nothing—no AI or VR advent of the future—will ever be able to replace them.

This month has been filled with epic presence! I decided to dedicate my time and attention to my @AcroYoga family here in Bali! I invited some of my favorite humans to partake in uplifting the vibes and connecting the True Hearted Tribes in this incredible practice of AcroYoga!

We leveled up together as I assisted in all types of expansive new movements, supported new friends and lifelong bonds. Most importantly I kept my integrity in presence as I didn’t use my phone till the end!
