At the end of January I got a very cool opportunity to shoot the red carpet for @kinomakesmovies at the @directorsguild. Ever since I was little growing up in the suburbs of Virginia, I was always drawn to Hollywood and the stars that bring it to life. I would always watch the red carpets and award shows and sometimes even dress up for the occasion (embarrassing). Capturing this event felt like a full circle moment for me. 🥹

I want to thank my best friend @vicbaldesarra for putting me up for this, as well as always speaking so highly of me. I’d also like to thank @britmacrae for trusting my vision and officially bringing me on board. As hard as this industry can be, I absolutely love what I do and I know this is just the very beginning! 💫

Agree to Disagree was a huge success, and a ton of fun. Two days of filming after weeks of writing and scene study, six weeks of nightly rehearsals, literally 80+ pitched scenes necked down to 8, more vocal warmups than I can count, coming to terms with my articulation issues, and a bunch of nerves crammed into just a few weeks.
Come Sunday, I'll probably never see some of these people again, but it's been a ride with them and I wouldn't have put up with just about anyone else. Many thanks to Tuesday and Suzanne for dealing with us and our nonsense, and for being an awesome director and an awesome stage manager.
Thanks gang, y'all made college tolerable.

Estoy muy manija de compartirles uno de mis primeros cortos que hice para la facu. Es una locura todo el proceso que uno tiene que hacer desde escribir el guion, re-escribir, hacer el storyboard, el shot list, filmar y encima después editar. Nunca estudié edición o dirección pero es una rama del cine que también me gusta mucho y quiero seguir experimentando. Como es algo que cree yo de cero, me da en el fondo nervios o miedito…. Pero no hay mejor maestro que la experiencia. Así que no dejen de intentar y probar cosas nuevas! Espero que les guste y les dejo un detrás de escenas✨🎬

I’m very happy to share one of my first shorts that I made for school. It's crazy the process that one has to do before the work is done. From writing the script, re-writing, doing the storyboard, the shot list, filming and on top of that, the editing. I’ve never studied editing or directing but it's another part of the movies that also has my heart and that I want to experiment with more. Since it’s something that I created from scratch, makes me a lil nervous or scared deep down…. But there is no better teacher than ‘experience’. So don't stop trying, and create new things! I hope you enjoy it✨ I’ll leave some behind the scenes for ur entertainment too😅

I couldn’t be prouder to share some of the stills and behind the scenes footage from me and @emillyroman final short films. There was so much time, stress and effort that went into these films but I am so amazed at what we’ve created. Not to mention my insanely talented friends who sacrificed their weekend to help me.
