SNAP VLOG 2 | Hello, my name is Mahine Sef, and I don’t think I could ever be grateful enough for a city like Lagos.

A city that has consistently embraced me, valued me for who I am, celebrated my work, and recognized my art without hesitation or reservation.

Lagos is an overcrowded, complex, and fiercely competitive city, where competition seems to be woven into the very fabric of its people. And yet, finding myself in such a dynamic environment and receiving this kind of recognition across the different paths I’ve chosen to explore — whether in music, filmmaking, or business — reminds me every day that perhaps I am talented, but above all, I am a hard worker.

The discipline, consistency, and relentless work ethic I have maintained over the years have brought me to where I am today. Nothing has happened overnight. Every step has been a reflection of the work I’ve put in, the risks I’ve taken, and the courage to keep exploring different sides of myself.

I hope that, one day, showing these different facets of who I am will no longer be seen as something that needs to be questioned or misunderstood, but rather as something that can inspire a generation of young people who are too often limited, held back, and discouraged from dreaming beyond the boundaries set for them.

Because I believe that young people should be free to explore, to create, to reinvent themselves, and to become everything they dare to imagine.

My name is Mahine Sef , and honestly, I don’t even know what I do for a living.

All I know is that I refuse to spend my life doing things I don’t love, and been arround people that doesn’t do.

A walk with my brother @moni.a.o that turned into a frame worth keeping.

What started as a long trek from Lekki to Costain became an unexpected photo walk through Lagos.

Somewhere along the way, I found this view, wide, quiet, and unmistakably Lagos.

Sometimes the photographs worth making are the ones you weren’t planning to take.

Lagos, Nigeria. 🇳🇬

Shot on October 1, 2026.

#IATF2025 is a memory I will carry with me always.
So grateful to have had the privilege of leading the filmmakers, photographers and editors tasked with recapping this international event.

To my dear crew: we pulled off something very few could manage, and from this point forward, that gets to be part of our story. Well done!

Special shout out to my brother @itspuffy, whose dream to transform storytelling on the continent of Africa had room in it for a to fly a grateful American dude halfway around the world to tackle this massive project. Can’t wait for next time, my friend.
