We had friends over for dinner the other week and John made a killerrrr jambalaya. We started talking about what each of our “signature dishes” was. We went around the table and when it got to me it fell silent and they go, “maybe you should just stick to taking pictures”. ⁣

BAHAHA — it’s true and completely hilarious. So maybe I suck at making food BUT, I can make some pretty killer pics for ya 😅 ⁣

I’m lucky enough that I discovered what I loved 10+ years ago and never looked back. That’s not to say that it was something I was good at THEN. But, I at least discovered what my *thing* was. I asked questions, learned everything I could about the art, industry, and finally figured out my style. It takes a helluva lot of work to run a successful business but several years ago, it was my dream to be where I am now. And although I have new dreams and goals, it’s ok to relish in the thought of how far you’ve come. ⁣

If you fall somewhere in between where you began and where you want to be, know it takes time. Keep going. 🌱⁣
