Our third year entering @48hoursnz and our third year at the Grand Final! We were so fortunate to be in the company of some of Aotearoa’s best grassroots film makers and it’s always a thrill to see our work up on the big screen at The Embassy in Wellington.

This year we received Neo-Noir as our genre and had to include the elements A Drawing or Portrait, a Macro shot, an Interruption and a Rumour. We made a typically oddball film (as it’s all we seem to know) with an incredible cast and crew including: @freethben @emmassively_gay @trubie.dylan @vanudenp @sico_nz @juliet.amy @damadevillalobos @tessflorence @adampercival @itsrahiluddin @doctorears

A huge thanks to our regional managers Rachel and @joel_tempero and to the whole @48hoursnz team for giving us another heart racing, adrenaline pumping, sleepless weekend.

We had SO much fun in the sun with the animals today on our AppleBox Creative Play Date @willowbankwildlifereserve.

Thanks to everyone who came along, just love seeing the smiles and hearing connections being made. We are so lucky here in Ōtautahi to have a huge focus on community within the creative industries. Community and collaboration over competition 🩷

If you’d like to be part of what AppleBox is doing sign up in the bio!

Huge thank you to the team at Willowbank for your support!

Decisions are being made about us without any consideration for our experiences, knowledge and perspectives.

We don’t oppose a social media ban because we think it’s annoying. We oppose it because we think it’s unfair and we know it’s ineffective.

If you are unsure about this bill, talk to the young people in your lives. Really listen to their opinions, and ask yourself: is this really the most effective way to help children in crisis?
