3 years of thrift pony!!!!! I used to think it was weird when people called their businesses their baby but thrift pony has changed me in so many ways I really do feel like she’s my child!!!

reminiscing on that first year, I had just pivoted from my clothing rental business to something way simpler inspired by a quote from my label printer (shown on slide 9). I learned the hard way that complexity is the enemy of execution. after years of trying it was so exhilarating having something that actually worked. even though I was in fight or flight for most of the year it felt like a dream. like I could actually do this! I learned so much about myself, discovered how much I enjoyed community, found my people. I will never forget our first few customers, being able to hire staff for the first time, and getting so lucky that most are still here today. I am endlessly grateful for everyone showing up despite the messiness 🥰 thank you for being part of this journey, and to quote Miss Addison Rae “I don’t need a lot of sleep because my life is my dream”.

also swipe to the end to see thrift pony’s astrology chart - she’s a Aquarius sun, Leo moon, and Aries rising which I feel is very accurate 🥰🥰🥰

1.6 // did 9 heads of hair and wore this pink fuzzy hat that reminds me of @whatthehellen even though it’s 70 degrees and I love women owned businesses who share ladders and help each other climb them and I brought my entire craft bag today thinking I was gonna get to craft during my day of 9 clients?? Delusion doesn’t always win but I damn sure try xoxo
