POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

This Soundcheck has been over a year in the making. Sometimes things really do come full circle. 🔄

Curator: @itsrichysmart
Role: DJ / Wichita Legend
Playlist: De La Steps

Richy actually came through the office about a year ago, but back when I was still figuring out the production side of things, we unfortunately lost his footage. 😭

Fast forward to his latest trip home for @backyard._.boogie with @flemmdoggydogg . He did a set at the office for @marsmansion House Keys, and I figured this was the perfect opportunity to run it back!

I've watched Richy's journey for years. I remember one of his last shows before leaving Wichita, DJing at Victoria's Secret on a Sunday with NO AC. 😂

Now he's catching flights, working with major brands, and taking his sound to new places.

But what I appreciate most is that he's still finding ways to share his knowledge, spread love, and push DJ culture forward. It's not just about playing records. It's about understanding the music, reading the room, and keeping that energy moving.

Nominee: @xtothev

At this point, XV might be our most nominated guest who hasn't made it into the office. 😂 Every time we try, our schedules just don't line up.

So Richy nominated him again. Maybe this time we'll finally make it happen!

Richy, thank you for giving me another opportunity to capture your story and for always showing love when you come home.

It's been incredible watching your growth, and I'm excited to see what's next.

Rooftop Sweat + Social at Legacy West 2026!

High winds? Date changes? Weather throwing us curveballs? NOTHING was stopping Legacy West’s first annual Rooftop Sweat & Social!

We rolled with the punches, turned up the energy, and brought an epic day of fitness, fun, and community to life! A little chaos behind the scenes, a whole lot of magic on event day. THIS is why we love what we do!

Somewhere around 350 guests, and I'm still finding new stories to tell. 😂

Since February 26, 2025, Support System Soundcheck has grown into something I never could've imagined.

And this week's lineup is another reminder of why I keep doing it.

This week's Support System Soundcheck lineup:

🎤 @itsrichysmart
🎤 @sarahmyose
🎤 @chuckerstudios of @chuckerguitars
🎤 @fitchels94 of @prepituppp

This week is a little special. DJ Richie originally filmed his Soundcheck at our old office, but we lost the footage. Thankfully, while he was back in town for the House Keys x @marsmansion pop-up at the office, we got another chance to sit down and got second chance to get it right. 😂

What I love about this lineup is that these are people building communities within communities. Different interests, different talents, different ways of contributing to Wichita.

And that's really what Soundcheck has always been about.

Not everybody thinks what they're doing is special. Some people are just showing up, doing the work, and making things happen without realizing the impact they're having.

Those are the stories I want to tell, too.

You don't have to be the loudest person in the room to make a difference.

Almost 350 guests later, I'm still grateful that people trust me enough to sit down and share a little piece of their world.

This is where culture meets community.

Every Step Tells a Story.

Rooftop Sweat + Social at Legacy West 2026!

High winds? Date changes? Weather throwing us curveballs? NOTHING was stopping Legacy West’s first annual Rooftop Sweat & Social!

With some of our favorites in the mix — @itsrichysmart bringing the beats, @victoriasaperstein capturing the fun, and @ghostmammoth.pb setting up pop up courts — the vibes were unmatched! 🎧🏓

We rolled with the punches, turned up the energy, and brought an epic day of fitness, fun, and community to life! A little chaos behind the scenes, a whole lot of magic on event day. THIS is why we love what we do!
