🇿🇦 A TOUGH ENDING, BUT A LOT TO BE PROUD OF 🇿🇦

Unfortunately, Ryan van Nieuwkerk was not selected to progress following the final day of the Red Bull Rookies Cup Selection.

That means neither of our young talents, Jason van Breda nor Ryan van Nieuwkerk, will be part of the 2027 Red Bull Rookies Cup grid.

While the result is certainly disappointing, there is so much to be proud of. Both boys gave it everything, stepped up to the challenge and showed incredible determination throughout the selection process.

Ryan finished the final day feeling that he had put together a strong day — it just wasn’t quite enough to earn a place in the next stage. It’s disappointing, but the boys will take the lessons, experience and positives from this opportunity and use them to keep moving forward.

We couldn’t be prouder of Jason and Ryan. 🇿🇦🏁

This is just one chapter in their journey, and we’re sure big things are still to come for these two young talents.

Keep pushing. Keep learning. Keep believing. The journey continues. 🔥🏍️

🇿🇦🏍️ RED BULL ROOKIES SELECTION 🏍️🇿🇦

The Red Bull Rookies Selection is currently underway, with two South African contenders flying the flag this year: @jason.van_breda and @itsryan_13_ . 🇿🇦🔥

Unfortunately, Jason didn’t make it through to the final day, but what an experience nonetheless. I’m sure he’ll take it all in, learn from it, and hopefully be back next year even stronger. 👊

As for Ryan van Nieuwkerk, he made it through to the final day, which takes place tomorrow! 🏁🔥

As Ryan said: “The first session was wet and raining, and then the second session there was a dry line created around the track.”

Obviously, tricky conditions, but there’s no doubt in our minds that Ryan has got the talent. 💪🔥

It’s all to play for tomorrow!

Ryan, we’re behind you all the way. 🇿🇦❤️ Go out there and give it everything you’ve got!

Good luck, Ryan! 🏁🔥

🇿🇦🏁 A very special moment for our South African boys! 🇿🇦

@itsryan_13_ and Jason Van Breda have had the incredible honour of meeting MotoGP legend @jorgelorenzo99 at the Red Bull Rookies Selection Event! 🤩🔥

And having Graham Van Breda, a true legend of South African motorcycle racing, by their side makes this experience even more special. 🇿🇦🏍️

Good luck out on track today, boys! Fly that South African flag high and give it everything! 🇿🇦💪🔥

@tyler_morgan.69 , one of South Africa's young up-and-coming racers, accompanying the boys at the Red Bull Rookies tryouts. Tyler also had the incredible opportunity to meet Jorge Lorenzo! 🏍️⭐

🇿🇦🏁 A HUGE GOOD LUCK to two of South Africa’s young rising stars! 🇿🇦🏁

We’re incredibly proud to see Ryan van Nieuwkerk and Jason van Breda representing South Africa on the international stage, having been selected to take part in this year’s Red Bull Rookies Selection Cup! 🔥🏍️

They’re over there right now, chasing the dream and putting their talent to the test against some of the best young riders from around the world. 🌍💪

And what an incredible moment — Jorge Lorenzo also got the chance to meet our two future stars! 🙌🏆 A pretty special experience for Ryan and Jason and one they’ll hopefully remember for many years to come.

Ryan & Jason — we’re behind you all the way! Give it everything, enjoy every moment, and show them what South African talent is made of! 🇿🇦❤️‍🔥

Round 4 and 5 of @saes.racing/@motorcycleracingseriessa in PE
.
Firstly I just want to thank everybody that was onboard with me this weekend. Your help and support were highly appreciated. From my mum and dad , thank you so much .
-Friday : practice, not bad managed to do some good times ,however my main bike decided to give up mid practice so it forced us to jump onto my spare bike, which is my short circuit bike.
-Qualy : managed 5th with new pb . The pace was certainly there .

Saturday: rain day, i meant race day . I finally had a full day of rain to increase my saddle time in the rain . Not much to say ,tried to start the first 3 races and end them without dropping the bike . Fortunately the last race had a 90% dry track so op-ed for the dry tires this time .Had fun till I lost the lead because I was too excited but I knew there's more to come and we will get it . NO ADA WAY
In the end we managed P1 for the day, we take it and come back stronger in the next one , trust .
