I went down to Athens, Georgia where I heard the music years before.

Duke TIP has given me more than I could ever give back. I have felt the most alone, the most at home, the most heartache and the most fulfillment at TIP that I have ever felt in my life. I am a better person because of my experiences here. Being a role model for these gifted children has been the greatest honor of my life. The people I met at TIP have shown me selflessness, empathy, love and unadulterated joy. I will carry those lessons in my heart every day. My biggest fear in leaving here is that I might never find another place that fills me with so much passion and happiness. My life is exponentially better having experienced the pain of leaving this place. It has truly been a privilege.
