this coffee shop, Trails, is located in Griffith Park. It feels like you’re in a mountain community instead of LA. I got the mushroom coffee which is not caffeinated, 6.5/10. It was my first time having mushroom coffee, and it def did its job of stimulating me without the caffeine rush.

I met up with @itssonyoutside who I met through TikTok Outdoorsy tok , and time goes by so quickly with her 🫶🏾

📍 Cholla Cactus Garden

Found in the transition zone between the Mojave and Colorado Deserts, the garden offers visitors a chance to stroll along a quarter-mile nature trail surrounded by dense clusters of cholla cacti.

I hope you are all able to get put and explore new and interesting places this weekend. Each weekend gives us an opportunity to get away from the stresses, deadlines, fears, and worries of our work or school obligations where we can. The weekends are those days we get each week to regroup, refocus, and relax with those that we have the most memorable and incredible times with. We can use this time find new things, places, and parks to explore, hike, camp, and climb at where you can, which may be at places you have been to before or have not been to before. Where are you going this weekend? What does your best weekend look like? What does the weekend mean to you?

As summer comes up and the temperatures begin to rise, it is important to find places to stay cool and refreshed in the heat. One of the places we enjoy visiting during the summer is Point Dume State Beach, which allows us the opportunity to not only climb the rock faces there, but we can enjoy the refreshing ocean, the relaxing sound of the waves crashing on the coast, or maybe even take a nap on the soft sand. This place has been the place for some of my first roped climbs, some amazing memories with even better people, witnessed many animals doing what they do in the water, such as dolphins, whales, and sharks. It will be the place to be this year when the summer heat comes around and you will be able to experience one of the most beautiful sunsets you have ever seen. Have you been to this place before? My name is Sonia Renee Villanueva. I’m 30 years old + am a Latina ginger
I go by She/They and have lived in LA my whole life x Tongva Land.

Im extremely passionate about helping our planet and the animals/plants/insects that live on it; but also by not knocking someone down for their choice not to. Some of my hobbies include: gardening, embroidery, learning new languages, reading, and spending time in nature however i can.

I came across WEE on instagram and decided to join a clean up / group hike and instantly felt home. There was no competition only community which is definitely one of my favorite things about Wee. Also loved that they recognized that we are on native land. It’s something i care about a lot and a goal i had that same year i meet the WEE gang so definitely felt meant to be. Helping out and getting to be a part of. Helping out our communities was the cherry on top.

Something im looking forward to in 2024 is going more community services with the gang and possibly bring new experiences i can help put together. Nothings set in stone—but all has been weighing on my heart so i think it’s time i make these dreams into obtainable goals ^_^.”
