🥩🔥 SARAJEVSKI ĆEVAP vs BANJALUČKI ĆEVAP! 🇧🇦

🥩✨ Two cities. Two legendary ćevapi. One of Bosnia’s greatest food rivalries. 🇧🇦❤️

We tried Sarajevski ćevapi at Željo 2 and Banjalučki ćevapi at Kastel in Sarajevo — and choosing between them was almost impossible.

🔥 Sarajevski ćevapi come as individual, juicy pieces of grilled meat, tucked inside warm, soft somun with onions. We added rich, creamy kajmak — and honestly, it was extraordinary. 🤤

🔥 Banjalučki ćevapi are completely different. Instead of individual pieces, they’re grilled in their famous connected blocks of four, giving them their unmistakable look and texture. At Kastel, there was no kajmak — just ćevapi, bread and onions doing all the work.

Both styles are part of Bosnia’s incredible ćevapi culture, but each represents its city in a completely different way. 🇧🇦

💰 Around €7 gets you a BIG portion.

Our tip? Forget choosing.

Eat Sarajevski AND Banjalučki ćevapi on the same day.

We did.

Best day of my life. 😂🥩❤️

So… SARAJEVO or BANJA LUKA? 👇🔥

🌶️🤯 SERBIA CALLS THIS SALAD?! 🇷🇸🔥

🌶️✨ Meet Urnebes Salata at Toto Motta in Kragujevac, Serbia. 🇷🇸✨

At first glance, you might wonder where the salad actually is. No lettuce, no cucumber, no tomatoes. Instead, Serbia gives you a creamy combination of white cheese, peppers, garlic and spices. 🧀🌶️

Urnebes is creamy, salty, a little spicy and surprisingly refreshing, making it an excellent companion to Serbia’s famous grilled meats like ćevapi and pljeskavica. And this one at Toto Motta is absolutely excellent. 🤤❤️

But there’s an interesting story behind its unusual name.

“Urnebes” means something like chaos or mayhem, which perfectly describes this powerful mixture of cheese and peppers. The dish is especially associated with southern Serbia, where it became a traditional part of the barbecue culture before spreading across the country. 🇷🇸🔥

Today, you’ll find urnebes served alongside grilled meat in restaurants and barbecue spots all over Serbia. It might officially be called a salad, but it’s closer to a rich, spicy cheese spread—and that’s exactly what makes it special. 🧀🌶️

My tip: Combine it with a shot of rakija. 🥃🔥 The urnebes brings the spice, the rakija brings the fire, and together you might actually start spitting flames. 🐉😂

The price? Just the price of a salad… but much better than a salad. 💰🤤

One bite and you’ll understand why sometimes the best Serbian salads don’t need a single leaf of lettuce. 🇷🇸❤️ #srbija #urnebes #beograd #roštilj #foodreels
