Stress doesn’t just live in your mind—your body keeps the score. When stress stays high, cortisol + sleep disruption can drive cravings, fatigue, and a stubborn plateau.

My “rebalance” basics:
1. 7–9 hours sleep (non-negotiable)
2. daily downshift (breathing/prayer/journaling/light movement)
3. stop overdoing HIIT; recover like it’s part of the plan
4. protein + fiber + healthy fat each meal
5. magnesium/B vitamins/vitamin D/ Vitamin C—food first, supplement only if appropriate

Comment or DM CORTISOL for the checklist + what labs I consider when plateaus won’t move.

If you are doing all the right things with your diet and healthy weight and still worried about “your high cholesterol” here’s a lab many people never hear about

Lipoprotein(a) — Lp(a).
It’s not on a standard cholesterol panel, and it’s largely genetic.

Why it matters: Lp(a) is an independent cardiovascular risk factor, and if your LDL or triglycerides are elevated, it can add to overall risk.

A commonly used cutoff for increased risk is ≥50 mg/dL (≥125 nmol/L).

⚠️ Not medical advice. Ask your clinician what testing and targets make sense for you.

Send this to the friend who’s been ‘trying to lower cholesterol’ for years.”

Save this for your next physical.

Just letting the people that travelled to Naija for Detty December and my Naija people know what they are missing o. We don start our own Detty December in Dallas 😜 and it looks like it is even more fun than Naija o 🏃‍♀️ because I am yet to see anything related to Detty December in Naija. I think it is clean December happening in Naija this year 🤣🤣

By the way, it was a great night celebrating our friend and sister who made sure her old friends and new friends got along 😆 I told you all it worked better than expected 😉

Nobody tells you how personal this journey becomes. But here is why I started my own practice.

Honestly? It wasn’t just starting or owning something . It was about impact.

Because I wanted to practice care differently, Slower, more intentional, rooted in listening, not rushing.

Because patients deserved personal care. Not a 5 minute visit and a refill.

Because I wanted freedom to lead with compassion, not corporate policies.

And obedience meant saying “yes” even when it was scary.

Because I wanted to build a space
where healing feels personal body and mind.

This is why I started VitalHealth-Prosper.

For purpose 🍀
