POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I visited yesterday to try the Suratthani Samrub Menu, a Thai set designed for four people. The set includes 14 dishes priced at THB 5,900++, perfect for 3–4 diners.

We were welcomed with complimentary starters—familiar ingredients reimagined with elevated flavors.

What impressed me most was the care taken with their oysters. Chef Boss personally walked me through the seafood room, explaining how they maintain freshness. The Thai oysters were outstanding—crisp, clean, and full of texture, especially in this special season.

The Southern-style deep-fried pork belly stood out with its unique kimchi and apple sauces. The pomelo salad showcased local ingredients, balancing sweetness, sourness, and umami. I appreciated that the spice was well-controlled, allowing the other flavors to shine—something rare in Southern Thai cuisine, which is often intensely spicy.

Desserts were equally inventive. Their twist on classic coconut ice cream featured pickled carrots, sweet potato, and a Japanese red bean wafer—unexpected yet delightful.

Adding to the excitement, the restaurant is about to launch its cocktail bar, where mixology takes center stage. Using fermented and homegrown ingredients, the bartenders craft refreshing drinks that push flavor boundaries. It’s another level of creativity that perfectly complements the food menu and elevates the overall dining experience.

Overall, the menu beautifully represents Suratthani’s food culture without trying to conform to trends. This isn’t just a review, it’s an invitation to experience @synth.restaurant, a must-try contemporary Southern-style restaurant in Bangkok.

The staff were knowledgeable, warm, and eager to share the stories behind each dish. Khun @itsthawan is a good storyteller. The ambience pays homage to Suratthani and Chef Boss’s grandfather, with interiors inspired by the sea. Sathorn is the perfect location, preserving the authenticity of the experience.

Happy birthday @ladiistory hope you enjoyed our celebration 🍸🍹

🏠 @synth.restaurant
💰 Surat Thani Samrub 5,900++ / Set for 4
