🇺🇸 THE WAIT IS OVER, MEET YOUR 2026–2027 USA CHEERLEADERS: MARYLAND DIVISION! 🇺🇸 Today marks the beginning of a brand new chapter. After an incredible day of auditions, we are beyond excited to officially introduce the women who will represent the USA Cheerleaders Maryland Division for the 2026–2027 season! ⭐️ They came through the doors with talent, confidence, personality and heart but earning a place on this team means so much more than putting on a uniform. It means serving others. It means honoring our military, veterans and first responders. It means showing up for our communities. It means representing something bigger than yourself. They are ONE TEAM. ONE FAMILY. ONE MISSION. 🇺🇸 To every woman in this photo: Congratulations. You earned this moment. Enjoy it. Be proud of it. A week later and I’m still trying to find the words for this week. 🤍 Top 5 in the state!! A result I am incredibly proud of, but somehow it isn’t even my biggest takeaway. If you had told me five years ago that I would return to pageantry with no coach, a homemade evening gown, only a month to prepare, and in a brand new system, I would’ve laughed. If you had told me I’d walk away as a Top 5 finalist at my very first state pageant as a Miss, I never would’ve believed you. This year has stretched me in ways I never imagined. There were moments I questioned if I would ever feel like myself again. There were days I wasn’t sure I had anything left to give. Stepping onto that stage wasn’t just another competition, it was proof to myself that joy can exist alongside hardship, that confidence can be rebuilt, and that healing isn’t about forgetting what you’ve lost, but learning to carry it with you. I carried a little piece of Aly with me every single time I stepped on stage. I hope I made her proud. To Loy, thank you for being the big sister I never had. To Kellie, thank you for believing in me and helping me navigate a world that was so new to me. To my boys—Zach, Gabe, Saddique, and Treat—thank you for always showing up. Your support never goes unnoticed, and it means more than you’ll ever know. To my Dressing Room 6 girls, Loy, Yasmin, and Kiley, thank you for every pep talk, every laugh, every debrief, and every moment that reminded me to just breathe. And to every woman in the Miss Maryland Volunteer Class of 2027, thank you for welcoming me with open arms and reminding me why I fell in love with pageantry in the first place. I came into this week hoping to prove something. Instead, I left with friendships I’ll cherish, memories I’ll hold forever, and a heart that feels so incredibly full. This may have been my first state pageant as a Miss, but I have a feeling it won’t be my last. Here’s to trusting God’s timing, embracing every chapter, and believing that sometimes the most beautiful victories are the ones that change you from the inside out. How can I even begin to put this into words? It took me 6 months to say yes to pageantry. Once I finally did, I had just 3 months to prepare, serve, and step into something completely unfamiliar. I had no pageant experience, no idea what to expect, and honestly, no expectations of even placing. Yet here I am… 1st Runner-Up to Miss Maryland Volunteer 2027! 💙 I’m beyond grateful and still in disbelief. I was honored to receive the highest preliminary scores in Swimwear and Talent from Group A, Overall Top Talent at finals, and the award that means so much to me, the Charles William Dell Memorial Award! My heart is so full!!! Thank you to every board member, volunteer, judge, sponsor, and everyone who poured into this organization. Thank you for believing in me and seeing something in me that I couldn’t yet see in myself. A special shoutout to @sashapereaconsulting and @axelmakeupacademy for being part of my journey. I’m so grateful for your guidance and kindness. To the amazing contestants, thank you for making this journey so special. You were truly my favorite part of this experience. The friendships and memories we’ve made are something I’ll cherish forever. Last, but certainly not least, Tori @itstorrix. Thank you for being my biggest supporter all weekend. You made sure I was ready and on time, kept me smiling, were my literal helping hand carrying everything I needed, took an insane amount of pictures and videos, stayed through the after-party, and cheered me on every step of the way. Your support was truly endless, and I’m so incredibly grateful to have had you by my side! The biggest congratulations to our new Miss Maryland Volunteer 2027, Bridget O’Brien @missmdvol 👑 I can’t wait to watch your journey and all the incredible things you’ll accomplish. I had to pull out these gems, because if I could put into words what pageantry has done for me, it would be this… It’s not easy. It’s not just glamour. It’s waking up at 3, 4, 5 a.m. for hair and makeup. It’s hours upon hours of hard work, coaching, and practice. It’s working for days, months, and years for your “yes.” It’s believing in yourself when the easiest thing to do would be to walk away. It’s praying to God backstage, holding onto faith in the moments no one sees. But above all… it’s home. It’s what you bring back with you the memories, the growth, the lessons. It’s pushing yourself to never give up and always try again. It’s more than makeup and glamour. It’s serving others. It’s turning your platform into purpose. It’s being a voice for those who need one. This is 18 years poured into one moment… and there’s no place I’d rather be than Royalty USA National Miss 👑 Happy international pageant day!💖
