The easiest way I’ve ever explained teeth whitening… 🤍

You know that one container in your cupboard that’s permanently stained from leftover spaghetti bolognese? 🍝

Yep… your teeth work the same way.

Over time, coffee ☕️, red wine 🍷, tomato based sauces 🍝 and other dark coloured foods can leave behind stains.

After whitening, your teeth are brighter, but for the next 24 hours they’re also more vulnerable to picking up new stains. That’s why I recommend following the white diet for the first 24 hours. ✨

But here’s the part I wish more people knew… 👇🏼

Even after those 24 hours, getting into the habit of rinsing your mouth with water after coffee, red wine or tomato based foods is such a simple way to help keep your smile looking brighter for longer. 🤍

Because teeth whitening isn’t just about the treatment…

It’s about understanding the aftercare that protects your results. 🫶🏼

I’m curious… was aftercare ever explained to you like this after your last teeth whitening treatment? 👇🏼🤍

Sweet little Luna joined our family this week. She is adjusting to the ways of the house, Piper is keeping her in check and adjusting to puppy energy herself. Luna has ripped off her surgery collar a total of 2 times in the last hour, tried to chase a toad last night and slept through most of the night. We all went for a light walk yesterday afternoon which went really well!!

This client is a really good example of what happens when you treat whitening like maintenance, not a one-time quick fix.

Her results:

- First Diamond treatment: 14 shades brighter in one session
- 6-week top up: another 10 shades on top of that
- 3–6 month maintenance: another 10 shade lift and still holding a white smile

Here’s what most people don’t realise:

After whitening, some fade is normal.

Your teeth are alive and slightly porous, so coffee, tea, wine and food will always add a bit of surface staining again.

But they do not go back to where they started.

Once we lift your base shade, your “normal” will be much lighter. From there, your top-up appointments are not starting again from zero. They work more like:

- A hair colour refresh
- Lash infills
- Regular skin treatments

They simply:

- Remove new surface stains
- Refresh your brightness
- Maintain your white smile over time

With good oral hygiene and planned maintenance, you can keep your smile looking white all year, without having to redo everything from scratch.

For February, if you book a Diamond whitening treatment, you’ll also receive a complimentary brow tidy to finish your glow up.

Send me a DM with the word TEETH to secure your appointment this month.
