Me & My friends are in another movie! This time it’s a different kinda, really special thing we did. Last year myself and some amazing actors and dancers collaborated on creating a shirt film called #Bossup …a huge thanks to everyone involved! To the dancers- we had a ball! We Made memories to last forever .

Thank you @iamtonytalks for selecting me and believing in everyone. This is your baby, and you trusted us all with this, and I am honored to have been apart of history.

Always to my brother & really good friend @rjnathaniel ! For the amazing choreography and an easy, but fun, process. Love you! 🫶🏽

In Atlanta, we find inspiration around every corner and look what we found at the Decatur @switchyards! A copy of the 2019 @tmagazine “The Greats Issue” featuring #FluxAlum Nick Cave on the cover.

Before @poncecitymarket opened to the public, what’s now the food hall was a huge industrial space and the perfect venue for the premiere of @nickcave’s astounding “Up Right” performance series, commissioned by @fluxprojects for Atlanta.

Presented in two-parts, both performances featured brilliant multi-colored rafia and hair “Soundsuits” - the first, energetic and celebratory; the second, haunting and ritualistic. Cave worked with Atlanta-based choreographer T. Lang, artistic director of @tlangdance and assistant professor of dance at @spelman_college, to choreograph the dance sequence. Lang also auditioned and cast twenty-nine Atlanta artists — dancers, performers, and musicians — for the elaborate and immersive performance.

We dipped into the #FluxArchives to share some Monday inspiration from the 2015 “Up Right”performance. Swipe through and you’re welcome. 😉
