We’ve all tried to save a little money 😭💸 but have you ever thought about the country’s finances? 👀🇺🇸 Let’s talk about it! @itsup2us

Were you surprised about the debt?

The decisions made at the ballot box affect college affordability, jobs, taxes, our economy, and the fiscal future our generation will inherit. Your voice deserves to be part of that conversation.

Be informed. Make a plan. VOTE. 🇺🇸

Because our generation shouldn’t just inherit the future — we should have a say in shaping it.

…okay No jokes, these conversations matter. ‼️
The national debt, fiscal policy, and a sustainable future affect our everyday lives, from the cost of living to the opportunities available to the next generation. Understanding how our government spends, saves, and prioritizes our money is how we become more informed citizens and build a future that works for everyone. The conversation starts with us…because it’s UP2US !! @itsup2us #uptous #nationaldebt #fiscalpolicy #fiscalresponsibility #selu

Yesterday, our Up to Us team leader represented Up to Us at Dr. Cuccia’s , Communication Theory class! We had an interactive discussion about fiscal policy, the national debt, and the importance of raising awareness about America’s fiscal future. We also got to hear students’ perspectives and encourage more students to participate in our upcoming Day of Action!

Thank you to Dr. Cuccia and her students for creating space for such an engaging conversation. One conversation at a time, we’re building awareness and encouraging students to take action! #itsuptous #up2us

Last week, students explored the national debt, learned how fiscal decisions can shape their daily lives, and connected with voter registration resources in Hays County in partnership with The Cornerstone Project! 🗳️✨

We’re proud that our chapter president, Catalina Salinas, also serves as a Voter Registration Fellow with The Cornerstone Project, helping students navigate the voter registration process while sharing facts about our nation’s debt and the importance of civic engagement! 💭📝

As future leaders, our voices matter in shaping the decisions that affect our communities, opportunities, and future generations. By staying informed and participating in civic life, we can shape the future ahead of us! 🌎

A huge thank you to The Cornerstone Project and everyone who stopped by! 💙

🇺🇸 WE’RE BACK, LUTHER! 🔥

Up to Us is back for Fall 2026, and our mission is clear.
We believe the future of this country belongs to the next generation. It is time for young people to have a voice in shaping it.

We’re here to raise awareness about America’s fiscal future, spark meaningful conversations and empower students to understand how fiscal policy affects our economy, our opportunities, and generations to come.

Now, we’re recruiting students who believe in our mission and want to be part of an organization that makes a real impact. 💡
📣 Have ideas? Bring them.
🌎 Want to make a difference? Join us.
🇺🇸 Ready to make your voice count? This is your moment.
