I still haven’t accepted that I’m even writing this.
This past Friday I lost my business partner, my roommate, and my brother Hisham. Hish.

We met through Amazon, and what started as business turned into a bond I can’t put into words. Months of living out of random Airbnbs together, grinding side by side. Building Socal Discounts together. Before long my friends became his friends, my people became his people he just fit everywhere.

Somewhere in all of that he stopped being just my partner and became someone I viewed as my little brother. Someone I gave life advice to, someone I pushed every day in the right direction, someone I just always wanted to take care of.
And what me, Hish, and Hussein built together is crazy. We all started out with a long way to go.to our first 5,000 sq ft warehouse. A team that grew from the ground up to eleven people. We built something great together. something that helps people take care of themselves and feed their families. Something bigger than all of us.

Hish, you were amazing. Your ambition, your hustle, your drive always hungry, always wanting to move the needle forward. And your positivity you lived in that abundance mindset every single day, and it’s no coincidence that’s exactly why you were as successful as you were at such a young age. That’s what everyone loved about you. It still doesn’t feel real that you’re gone, and part of me isn’t ready for it to be.

If you take anything from this post, let it be this: nobody saw this coming. Nobody. So call the people you love. Hug them. Tell them what they mean to you while they can still hear it. Don’t assume there’s a tomorrow to do it because I’d give anything for one more.

To everyone who has reached out thank you. The amount of love has been overwhelming. Seeing people all over social media posting about Hish, seeing how many hearts he touched and how many lives he impacted it’s beautiful, and it doesn’t surprise me at all.

We’re carrying your legacy forward in everything we do, Hish. That’s a promise.
Rest easy, brother. 🤍

Our hearts are completely broken today. From the moment he came to the IE from Chicago, he instantly became family; he became like one of my own boys.
It’s rare to meet a young man with the kind of drive, respect, and maturity he possessed. He gave everything to the game of basketball, training every single day until he became a great player and mastered the dunks he dreamed of. When high school ended, he turned that same hustle toward his business. At just 21 years old, through pure hard work, he achieved his goals and became a true success story.
He was mature beyond his years, fiercely dedicated, and deeply respectful. To lose him this morning is an unimaginable pain.
Sending all of our love and deepest condolences to his family. You inspired us every day, and you will always be a part of our family. Rest easy, Hish @itzhishh . We love you!🕊️🏀✨
