Hi everyone! 💛 My name is Akhelah and I am grateful to have the opportunity to participate in ASA’s 16th Annual Benefit Dinner, Date for Charity, to raise funds and awareness for the people of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It’s easy to see what’s happening in the world and feel like there’s only so much we can do to help. But I believe that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a difference. Behind the headlines are real people, families, and communities facing conflict, displacement, and uncertainty. They deserve to be seen, heard, supported, and reminded that they are not forgotten! Being part of this fundraiser gives me an opportunity to contribute to something bigger than myself, and I hope to use it to help bring more awareness and support to this cause. ❤️ If you’re able to donate, I would be incredibly grateful for your support. No amount is too small, and if you’re unable to give, sharing this post can help spread awareness, too. Every bit of support means something. Thank you to everyone who takes the time to read, donate, share, or simply help spread the word. Your kindness truly matters. 🫶🏾💐 Let’s stand together for peace, hope, and a better future for the people of the Congo. 🇨🇩❤️ 🔗 My GoFundMe is linked in my bio!
