Last night, I had the opportunity to participate in the Irvine Unified PTA School Board Candidate Forum, where we discussed some of the most important challenges and opportunities facing our schools.

From supporting student achievement and mental health to retaining excellent educators and preparing our students for an increasingly complex world, the decisions made by our School Board have a profound impact on our children, our families, and our community.

Experience matters. Knowledge matters. Leadership matters. And when it comes to the future of our public schools, I believe voters deserve to hear directly from the candidates seeking to represent them.

I encourage you to watch the forum, hear our perspectives, and decide for yourself who has the experience, understanding, and commitment to make informed decisions on behalf of Irvine’s students.

Thank you to @iucpta and @4thdistrictpta for providing this important opportunity for our community to make an informed choice.
