During April 2026, @pat.plaza took part in the @nefanimation residency with @accr2025 support at the Fontevraud Abbey @fontevraud (Loire, France), a place with more than a thousand years of history, where he continued the writing and visual development of Black Diaries, an animated feature film inspired by the life of Irish independence activist Roger Casement, while also exploring the visual intervention of the European colonial archive.

During the residency, he shared the experience with filmmakers developing other projects, exchanging ideas, knowledge and creative processes.

Many thanks to @orillasnuevas and @if_argentine for supporting and accompanying our project. And thank you to @nefanimation for an incredible month in such a unique place, which helped deepen both the narrative and visual development of the film.

⚡️𝙊𝙁𝙁𝙄𝘾𝙄𝘼𝙇 𝘾𝙊𝙈𝙋𝙀𝙏𝙄𝙏𝙄𝙊𝙉𝙎⚡️

🌞 In two weeks, the 27th edition of the Festival international Music & Cinema Marseille will open its doors. This year, we are proud to present 10 feature films and 57 short films selected in the official competitions.

🏆 The MCM competitions celebrate bold, inventive and deeply sincere cinema, where sound, rhythm and composition dialogue with the image. Surprising, moving and sometimes unsettling, these films reveal singular voices and new artistic perspectives.

#twtr26 ✨ IN TRANSMISSION

🎞️ Across glowing screens, voice recordings, and far-flung places, the protagonists in IN TRANSMISSION attempt to connect with each other.

✨ Intimacy flickers, reaches, and sometimes falters as they navigate absence, miscommunication, and isolation, revealing how closeness is built, tested, and sustained across time zones, generations and languages.
