Someone asked me to share more about my experience with the PS5, so here’s the update. 😂🎮

Getting back into gaming as an adult has honestly been way more fun than I expected. I hadn’t really played consistently in years, so jumping back into NBA 2K has definitely reminded me how rusty I am.

But that’s also what I’ve been enjoying about it. No work. No productivity goal. No trying to turn it into something. Just sitting down, playing a game, and having fun again.

Did life ever get so busy that you stopped gaming or dropped a hobby you used to love? Tell me what it was in the comments.

I’m still figuring out the PS5, relearning 2K, and rediscovering what I actually enjoy in this season of life. Sometimes I think God uses even the simple things to remind us that life isn’t only about responsibilities.

Getting back into a fitness routine as an adult is harder than people make it look.

Between work, responsibilities, low energy, and everything else life throws at you, taking care of your health can slowly move to the bottom of the list.

That’s why I wanted to try Industrious Austin. The coach-led classes, built-in workout structure, and community make it feel a lot easier to just show up and get moving without having to plan everything yourself.

What usually keeps you from working out consistently time, energy, motivation, or not knowing what to do? Drop yours in the comments.

And if you’re in Austin looking for a new gym or group fitness class, their first month is currently $1, which makes trying it out a pretty easy decision.

I’m just trying to get stronger, feel better, and make taking care of myself part of real adult life again.

Apparently… Kai thinks outside belongs inside. 😂

She loves being outside, but bath time? Completely different story. So lately I’ve been using MultiPet all-purpose pet wipes for the quick cleanups when she comes back in with dirty paws and whatever else she managed to bring home.

Dog owners what does your dog absolutely hate you doing? Baths, nail trims, brushing, paw cleaning? Tell me in the comments.

Taking care of Kai reminds me that stewardship shows up in the little things too. God trusted me to care for her, mess and all.

Sometimes feeling far from God doesn’t start with walking away. Sometimes it starts with getting so busy trying to make life work that you stop noticing how little room you’re leaving for Him.

I’ve been thinking a lot about spiritual disconnection, trusting God, staying close to Christ, and what it really means to abide in Jesus when life gets busy.

Comment “STAY CLOSE” if you’ve ever caught yourself trying to carry everything on your own.

John 15:5 reminds me that faith isn’t just about believing God exists. It’s about staying connected to Him when work, pressure, ambition, and everyday life start taking over.

I’m learning that I don’t need to become more productive for God. I need to stop trying to build a life that works without Him.

If this hit where you are right now, save it and send it to someone who may need the reminder too.
