Two years, countless prayers, late nights, and so much love poured into this project. I had the honor of producing Clear the Air for my best friend and sister, and watching her step deeper into her creativity, resilience, and patience has been nothing short of inspiring.

This journey brought together some of the most talented, passionate creatives, and I’m so grateful for every moment, every lesson, and every person who helped bring this vision to life. Thank you @panavisionofficial for helping with come to life with the New Filmmakers Grant.

Grateful for growth. Grateful for community. Grateful for the journey.

The journey to this film has been nearly two years. At one point, I put it down because I didn’t have the strength to keep going. After taking a break, we came back and decided to move forward as if we were fully funded, even though we had nothing. No cast, no crew, no locations, no money.
Creating this film has been one of the most difficult things I’ve ever done. The amount of no’s, the disappointments, the hardships felt overwhelming at times, but there were also moments that kept us going.

I’m so grateful to the cast and crew. Working with you all and witnessing your talent was the highlight of this journey. Watching everyone show up the way you did made me realize this film is bigger than me. People traveled from Houston and Austin and showed up with so much love in their hearts. I truly love y’all and I’m so grateful you chose to give your time and talent to Clear the Air.

Thank you to my family for always believing in me and never batting an eye when I said I wanted to be a filmmaker.

Thank you @panavisionofficial for believing in us. You took a chance on us with the New Filmmaker Grant and allowed us to work with camera gear we could only dream of. Everyone was incredibly kind and patient, and we’re so grateful.

What ever you do D-Town, Don’t Look Up!

This was a fun passion concept piece I got to work on with some amazing fellow creators and friends.

This piece was inspired by the eclipse and that magical, eerie stillness when all of Dallas is looked up and the world went quiet. It also draws from that viral TikTok moment when someone claimed they saw aliens that looked like Black people. I couldn’t stop thinking, what if…?

Last week was MAGICAL! 💜 Every time I have the pleasure of premiering a film, I’m forever shocked and overwhelmed by the support of my family and friends that come to see our work. Such an honor to be in community with this cast and crew, and in community with people that support the dream. I can’t say thank you enough!
