POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Ahead of the screening of Storia di Una Leggenda, the ICFF tribute to the extraordinary legacy of Pininfarina, @icffcanada gave me the privilege of leading a conversation about one of the most enduring names in Italian industrial design and automotive history.

Our panel brought together three remarkable perspectives — Flavio Volpe, President of the Automotive Parts Manufacturers’ Association; Samuele Sordi, Chief Architect Officer at Pininfarina of America; and Luigi Ferrara, Dean of the Centre for Arts, Design & Information Technology at George Brown College and President of the World Design Organization.

Together, we explored Pininfarina beyond the automobile — its technical mastery, cultural influence and enduring belief that great design is not simply about creating beautiful objects, but about creating emotion, desire and dreams. Some designs become icons, some become part of our collective imagination.

An inspiring evening celebrating a legend that continues to design the future.

It was so wonderful to attend the Venice Film Festival and attend sessions presented by the @icffcanada, Italian Canadian festival than now celebrates 12 years of existence.
The presenters shared so much about the Canadian film industry, and why Toronto (an easy "imposter" for big metropolis on screen) was voted among the top cities for film production.

The celebrations then continued at @caffeflorian1720 in piazza San Marco.
