The Devil at The End of Dusk
.
I gotta post some archives now, hahaha. 12P/Pons-Brooks, finally got to captured this "Devil". Took me around 3 full month in planning and 1 full month in acquisition process to get such short exposures. With its periodic time that has 71 years makes this comet a Halley-type comet with a periodic time between 20-200 years. While observing, the magnitude is quite dimmed at ±4.81 mag. The condition is quite windy but clear that you can see 3 big mountains from the observation site. I gratefully gained around 38 minutes of integration but only got to stack 24 minutes of "good" lights. Overall, I'm happy enough to see the thin tail shape through the stacked version. And, I've had an opportunity to saw the tail from the live view, how lucky I was. I'm also quite happy with the pink-ish background color due to astronomical twilight. It made me satisfied. Shoutout to @ivanfrms who has accompanied me later after the comet observation and we were able to observed Orion and Carina Nebula through the telescope!.
