🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️So much of our work is holding space for others. This one is for us.

Queer healing does not happen in isolation. It happens in connection, in community, in the moments when we get to just be. The Queer Healers Hang is built for that.

On Saturday, November 7th, at The Black Cat from 2:00 - 5:00 pm. We are gathering all queer health and wellness professionals for a casual, crafty afternoon. Therapists, admin staff, social media teams, community care workers. If you are part of the broader ecosystem of queer healing, there is a place for you here. Come connect, decompress, meet new folks, catch up with familiar faces, and make something with your hands.

We will be making friendship bracelets, eating snacks, and sharing stories. Make them for yourself or as a gift. If you have beads, charms, or bracelet-making treasures at home, bring them for the communal stash. And if your bead collection is nonexistent or hiding in a drawer somewhere, no worries. There will be plenty to go around.

This is not networking. It is connection, creativity, mutual support, and queer joy.

Free to attend. Beverages and food available to order.
Small donations appreciated to help cover costs.

Come as you are. Connect with a community who gets it.
Together, let’s bring mental health & wellness out of the closet.

🌈A huge, heartfelt THANK YOU to every vendor, practitioner, artist, facilitator, DJ, community organization, volunteer, and beautiful human who showed up and helped make this last Queerly Connected such a powerful celebration of community, connection, wellness, healing, creativity, and belonging. 🫶🏽

From free workshops and massage to grief support, therapy resources, movement, music, art, games, and so much more — you brought the magic. ✨

And to our incredible vendors and community participants: thank you for sharing your work, wisdom, resources, stories, and energy with us. You helped create a space where queer folks could find their people, discover resources and support, move, rest, play, heal, create, connect, and simply be.

🙌🏽If you met a vendor, practitioner, artist, or organization at Queerly Connected, go give them some love! Follow them, book with them, shop with them, share their work, and keep supporting the people who pour so much into our queer community.

And to everyone who came through Sunset Triangle Plaza in Silver Lake — THANK YOU. We’re so grateful you showed up and made this day what it was.

From all of us at Open Space Therapy Collective: thank you for choosing community.

👉🏽 Until the next one… keep showing up, and keep choosing queer joy!

One week of healing after facial feminization surgery 🥹🩷
The swelling, bruising, staples and difficult moments have not been easy—but every day I am seeing a little more of the woman I have always known myself to be.
I am still healing, but I already feel more like me. So grateful for my surgeons, my family and everyone who has supported me through this chapter of my transition ✨

So happy to have @samroseloui and @drewbassilakis in LA for a few days. And no visit home to LA is complete without a night at the Magic Castle with @warrenloui! Warren gets a free dinner there on his birthday so we celebrated his birthday again!

At my 1-week post-op, I decided to pull a harmless prank on the team that helped change my life 😂
I love them so much.

Thank you for being part of my transition and helping me feel more at home in my body 🫶

I almost didn’t post this.
I’m a pretty private person. I create things for others, stay behind the scenes, and rarely talk about myself online. But I’m at a point where I need to ask for help.

Many of you don’t know this, but I’ve been fighting to get Facial Feminization Surgery (FFS) for years. There’s been one dead end after another with insurance roadblocks and unemployment. By the start of this year, I had almost given up completely.

Then I met Dr. Ives @ivesmd
Walking into his office felt different. His whole team, from Maya at the front desk to his patient liaison Maureen, who spent two hours with me documenting every word, made me feel genuinely seen and cared for. Halfway through my consultation, he told me that not only could my FFS be covered, but a second procedure I’d also given up on could be too. I was in shock!

This past April I had body contouring done. Kylie (the MPH on the team) checked in with me almost every single day for the first four weeks. I felt held through every moment of recovery.

Now my FFS is scheduled for July and this is the part where I need your help.
I started working at 12 years old and have never asked for this kind of help. But my savings are almost gone, and I need support covering rent, utilities, groceries, and lymphatic treatments during recovery over the next few months.

If you can give even a little, it matters more than I can say. And if money isn’t possible right now, simply sharing this campaign would go a long way.
The link is in my bio. 💛

Spent a wonderful evening discussing facial feminization surgery at the UCLA Plastic Surgery Journal Club last night! It’s always a pleasure to get together with some of the most dedicated gender surgeons in Los Angeles to teach residents, talk about salient topics, and learn from each other! Thank you to @klsmartingroup for sponsoring and @doctorjarrahy for the insightful talk.

Swipe to see what we loveee to see- that post-laser glow!!

I have so many patients see videos online about aggressive laser treatments that slough off the skin. It doesn’t have to be this way! Our laser is fully customizable- to honor each individuals goals, and skin types, for a safe, effective laser treatment!

One of my favorite treatments hands down ✨ comment with your questions below!

This year felt like an OT win. Grateful to have spent it with THE BEST humans, period. On to 35, on to the success of Los Angeles BioSciences, Inc. (LABS), and on to many more adventures with the squad!
