POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Before @VerseTap AI Sermon Note-taker, preparing or taking sermon notes often meant moving between separate tools: your notes app, a Bible app, a concordance, and sometimes a search engine.

You would type “Romans 8:28,” pause your thought, leave your notes, find the passage, copy or confirm the text, and then return to where you started.

VerseTap changed all of that.

Type a reference. The passage appears. No switching. No copying. No internet needed.

That was the founding idea. Built in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. December 2025.

Since then, we've added 341,286 cross-references, Strong's Concordance with 14,197 Greek and Hebrew entries, four complete Bible translations offline, and AI semantic search that finds verses by meaning, not just by reference.

1,500+ users across 50+ countries. Android, iOS, and web.

Other Christian technology products offer valuable Scripture-linking and note-taking features, and we welcome that progress. The need is too important for only one tool to serve it.

But @VerseTap brings these capabilities together in one focused experience: sermon notes, Bible lookup, Scripture research, offline access, and intelligent search without breaking your flow.

This is what we are building from Port Harcourt for believers across the globe.
VerseTap. Type the reference. Tap the verse. Stay in the Word.

@VerseTap just got a serious upgrade. And here's what's new.

Your Bible references now turn into tappable verses the instant you finish typing them. No pause, no waiting to leave the paragraph. Type "John 3:16" and it lights up right there, ready to open.

You can also dictate your notes now. Speak your thoughts, and Clean Up adds punctuation and paragraph breaks while keeping your own words and theological language exactly as you said them. Say a Bible reference out loud, like "John chapter 3 verse 16," and it becomes a tappable verse too.

Focus Mode is now a single tap in the header. Everything else falls away so it's just you, the page, and the Word.

Saving is cleaner too. A quiet spinner and checkmark instead of flickering text, so you always know where you stand without it getting in your way.

@versetap v3.1.8 is live now.

VerseTap is not just a sermon note taker. It's a powerful word study companion that helps you to trap every bit of inspiration and revelation God has to release into you.

Available on iOS, Android and web.

Habakkuk was told to write the vision down and make it plain. Not just receive it. Write it.

There's something about writing down what you hear from God that turns a fleeting thought into something you can return to, build on, and actually walk out.

The Hebrew word there is kathab, to write, to inscribe, to record for what comes next.

That's the same instinct behind VerseTap. Your time with God shouldn't end when you close your Bible. It should end with something written down, something you can find again.

Your Bible. Your notes. All in one place.

Sunday, August 2nd records 685+ app activities across 16 countries. That's a 10.8% jump from the Sunday before.
.
.
The number that stands out most: 405 Bible verse lookups in a single day, capturing ministers, teachers, and everyday believers reaching for Scripture mid-service, mid-study, mid-thought. No app switching. No waiting for a page to load.
.
.
Nigeria led the way, followed by the UK, the US, Uganda, and Australia. Fourteen more countries showed up too, from Zimbabwe to Sweden to Papua New Guinea.
.
.
When the idea for VerseTap AI Sermon Note-taker came, the main goal was to solve a solid friction point I personally encountered during a sermon prep. We built it so the Word would be one tap away when you need it to work. Sundays like this simply tell us it's working.
.
.
I remain your BrandCore Strategist.

Getting started with VerseTap is simpler than you think. There are three ways in:

1⃣ Open the Study Bible, read, and take your notes right after.

2⃣ Or start with a blank note and locate any Bible reference you can't fully remember, without leaving the note.

3⃣ And from the Study Bible, Thematic Search lets you pull up relevant passages on any subject, classified by Promises, Principles, Prophecies, and Biblical Accounts.

No app switching. No losing your place. Watch and tell us which route fits how you study.

Download VerseTap on Play Store, App Store, or simply use the web version at versetap.app (links are in bio)

Today July 26th, we've had 620+ app activities from 12 countries. That's 61% more than the Sunday before. That was the analytics snapshot of VerseTap as at 8pm (WAT).

Nearly half of everything people did in the app was look up a verse. Not browse. Not scroll. 299 times, someone typed a Bible reference and the passage appeared. Instantly. No internet required.

121 sessions opened today. 63 people created notes. That's a 52% note creation rate. More than half of everyone who opened the app wrote something down.

31 people backed up their notes to Google Drive. One in four sessions ended with someone deliberately saving their work.

28 thematic searches completed. Scripture Counsel, finding verses by theme, being used in the middle of a Sunday.

Countries active today include Nigeria, United Kingdom, Philippines, Ghana, Malawi, United States, Canada, Indonesia, Sierra Leone, Kenya, Australia, and Suriname. 74% Android. 25% iOS.

We're sharing it because seeing ministers, teachers, and students in 12 countries studying and writing on a Sunday is the whole reason this was built.

If you used @versetap today, this data includes you. Remember, your notes stay private. They never get to our servers.

Thank you for believing in this mission, and for sharing it with your loved ones.

There are tools built around the church service. But VerseTap is built around the individual: the serious Bible student, the diligent Sunday School teacher, the busy preacher who needs both the Bible and the note all in one place.

Offline. No app switching. No internet needed. No dependence on external factors that are not guaranteed.

Type a scripture reference in your notes and the passage appears instantly. Tap any word in the KJV and the original Greek or Hebrew meaning opens right there.

Notes back up to your own Google Drive. Nothing touches our servers. Not now. Not ever. Enjoy automatic synchronization across all your devices.

1,400+ downloads. 50+ countries. Free on Android, iOS, and web.

VerseTap only had one door in initially, which is, Create New Sermon.
.
.
At the beginning, that wasn't a problem, but with deeper usage, the friction became glaring. I'm a Bible teacher before anything else, and most of the time when I open my Bible, I'm not prepping anything. I'm just studying. Sitting with the text. Letting it work on me before I try to make it work for anyone else.
.
.
So we built a second way in. Open the Bible, and straight to a book and chapter. No note pressure, no blank page waiting. Just the text.
.
.
And that solves something else too. You know the moment when the preacher doesn't start with a title, but just says "turn to Psalm 92, verse 5." If you're sitting there with VerseTap, you open it and flow with the message. When something worth keeping comes up, you select the verse(s), tap "Create Note" and you're already there.
.
.
And while you're studying on your own, here's where it gets good. In John 21, Jesus asks Peter "do you love me" three times. In English, it reads like the same question. In Greek, it isn't. Two different words. Tap the underlined word in VerseTap and you see exactly which one, and what it means. That's Strong's Concordance, built right into the app now.
.
.
Bible browsing. Scripture lookups. Word study. Zero internet required.
.
.
VerseTap is free, on Android, iPhone, and on your PC. See the link in bio.
