With any fake, your landing percentage will increase if you set it up. In this sequence, we'll use fundamental techniques to create an opening to land our left knee and follow-up combination.

Key Points to Remember - 📝

1. You have to throw EFFECTIVE rear body kicks. Your opponent needs to feel threatened by the kick. This will make them feel more inclined to check the kick.

2. Now that the pre-work is done, lift the rear leg up to sell the illusion of the rear body kick. This will prompt them to check the kick.

3. Your rear leg will step down as you obtain your grips/hand traps. This will set up the left knee.

4. After your knee, step the left leg down as you continue to frame and throw the rear elbow.

5. Post with your lead hand, pivot/draw your rear leg back to obtain your angle. Finish with your 2 body kicks.

Of course, you can replace any of these techniques as you see fit. The main idea here is the set up! 💥 We don't need to over complicate things. 💯

Also, huge thanks to @lukethechef_ 👨‍🍳 for being in the video and helping @iviucho prepare for his upcoming fight.

Another WKA Nationals in the books! The team showed intensity, heart and resolve.

@voshonmack had a text book performance up a weight division, @saigegomez triumphed over so major adversity to dethrone the defending division champ, @iviucho stepped into his first open division and showed he’s where he should be, Mike debuted with some great fights and knows what needs to be done, @braydenromanos is the MVP of the weekend grinding through 6 fights in 2 days, and never backing down.

The rest of our competitors showed out, win, loose or draw.

Thank you to all the coaches and teammates who invested time and energy into the team.
