Some pages from the notebook of cryptozoologist and paleoartist Prof. Gersio Paleodetti. For these sketches, I took inspiration from the unmistakable style of Gravity Falls, created by @_alexhirsch_ . I tried to blend his style and that of the show’s art director, @iworrel , with my own, imagining and drawing creatures inspired by Italian myths and folklore, and, in some cases, by pop culture as well, such as the axe-wielding gnome. I can’t wait to flip through and read The Art of Gravity Falls, coming out this September!

not my home, but I know my way around 👁️ this was my very first time 3D modeling a room/environment, so hopefully I did this one justice!! 🌲❓💫 happy 14th birthday Gravity Falls, you will always hold a special place in my heart and everything I create. Having started this show at only 7 years old, I can say with confidence that I wouldn’t be the animator and weird human being I am today without it. So to the cast and crew, thank you for everything 🧡 —— 🚫 NO AI, THIS WAS MADE ENTIRELY IN AUTODESK MAYA BY TIRED HUMAN HANDS!! Since I was juggling 5 other finals, most of what you see here is the product of 1 sleepless night (yes, I sold my soul to a dream demon to finish this assignment). Sadly, it took roughly 9 hrs for 2 separate computers to render each pixel, so I didn’t have time to finish texturing 🤧 but hopefully I can revisit it one day and add more detail bc I had a ton of fun —— [tags & keywords: #3dmodel #gravityfalls #mysteryshack #gravityfallsfanart #3dmodeli̇ng , Maya, art, 3D, fanart]
