Back in action ✨

HIIIPOWER CREATIVE has always been about making space for a creative life. It’s rooted in curiosity, community and small rituals that shape our days.
Over the past while, we have been simplifying. Cooking, creating and conversing.
We are grateful for the space and for those who stayed connected through it all.

This isn’t a relaunch. It’s a soft return to what always mattered to us.

Thank you for being here. We’re excited to share what’s next.

With Much Love,
Iya + Jo

From both of us—thank you.

To everyone who came through, purchased a piece, messaged, or simply showed love—your support means the world. This was the first project from Hiiipower Creative, and it truly felt like a success because of you.

Deep gratitude to @cnnkcreative and @cohenmcdonald who poured their hearts into the space—your work brought it all to life.
To @arthurstorm thank you for setting the vibe on opening day and for helping with setup and takedown.
To our parents, @amcaparas and @j_d_barbershop thank you for the extra support with the kiddo and for bringing cupcakes to keep spirits high.
And shoutout to @natalinospizzabc for keeping everyone fed on opening day with the best pizza in Surrey—hands down.

We’re just getting started, and we couldn’t be more thankful to grow this with a community like you.

With love,
IYA + JO

Meet Iya — co-founder, culture shaper, admin, and the creative soul behind @hiiipower.creative

“A 10 Year Anthology” is just the first chapter in a growing story of entrepreneurial vision shared with her partner, @johandlejdsouza . And trust, this is only the beginning.

Catch Iya’s intuitive, abstract paintings on display until May 25th — or follow along to see where her imagination leads next.

“Tin-Can Culture”
Food can be both a memory and a map. In this piece, Spam becomes a symbol of inherited identity. A preserved link to a culture I didn’t grow up fully knowing, but felt through food. This is for those who found home in flavor before they found it in history.

Limited prints available in the gallery. ✨

While our show is open at the Crescent Beach Pop Up Gallery, we’re hosting a creative space for kids of all ages — adults welcome too!
Join us to make your own stickers and choose to add them to a collaborative installation or take them home.

This activity is about expression, creativity, and giving kids a voice through art.
Please note: our space is one of respect and inclusivity — there is no room for hate here.

Come get inspired and make something that speaks you.

Hiiipower creative started with endless chats on buses and SkyTrains.

Jo and Iya couldn’t stop discussing ideas, big dreams, little sparks, and how to build/create
a life together.

What started as transit banter turned into road trip ramblings, ferry ride brainstorms, and cross-country dream plotting.

“Business meetings” just meant being in the same car with coffee and a killer playlist.

Hiiipower creative was never a plan—it is a shared vibe, a rolling conversation that will never stop.

After 10 years of creating together, Iya and Johann D’Souza are excited to present and sell a collection of works made throughout their journey.

They’ll also be featuring inspiring pieces by two of their artist friends:
✨ Beadwork by @cnnkcreative
✨ Paintings by @cohenmcdonald
Stay tuned for show details and behind-the-scenes as we get ready to celebrate!
