I’m honoured to be named an official IOY Ambassador for 2026–2027 with the International Organization of Youth.

From student leadership at Akwa Ibom State University to my NYSC year in Niger State, I’ve learned that young people do their best work when they are heard and given room to lead. This ambassadorship lets me carry that into a global network of young people across 135 countries.

I’ll be sharing opportunities, starting conversations on leadership and civic responsibility, and helping more young people in Nigeria connect with this movement.

Thank you to Team IOY for the trust. Let’s get to work.

An ambassador is not merely one who wears a title, but one who carries a purpose.

I am honoured to serve as an IOY 14 Ambassador, committed to inspiring young minds, amplifying opportunities, and reminding the next generation that leadership begins with responsibility, not recognition.

For the future is not inherited by those who wait; it is built by those who dare to serve.

I am honored to announce that I have been selected as an International Organization of Youth (IOY) Ambassador for the 2026–2027 term. 🌍

I have kept this news private for a little while, and I am truly proud to finally share this milestone.

For me, this appointment represents more than a title. It reflects my commitment to youth leadership, international cooperation, and my long-term aspiration to build a career in diplomacy.

Every day, I work towards earning my place in the diplomatic field, learning, growing, and seeking opportunities to contribute meaningfully to international dialogue. This journey requires patience, resilience, and dedication, and I am learning to appreciate every step along the way, including the ones that happen quietly, away from public recognition.

Being selected as an IOY Ambassador is an important milestone in that journey. I look forward to contributing to youth empowerment initiatives, connecting with young leaders from diverse backgrounds, and helping amplify the voices of young people in discussions that shape our collective future.

I am also looking forward to the opportunities for international engagement ahead, including the upcoming 15th International Youth Conference (IYC15) in Los Angeles in May 2027, which will focus on sustainable development and global partnerships.

I am grateful for this opportunity and excited for what lies ahead. I remain committed to learning, serving, and building the skills and experience needed to pursue my ambition in diplomacy.

I am still at the beginning of my journey, but I know the direction I want to take. Every opportunity, every challenge, and every effort brings me one step closer to the future I envision.

This is not the destination. It is another meaningful step towards the dream I am determined to achieve.
