Our launch event went so well yesterday!

This initiative is not a vision that came over night.
It was laid on my heart back in 2020, but a whole array of reasons held me back. However a sermon I heard not too long ago convicted me & I’m so glad that I listened to the Holy Spirit.

Hey, I’m Iyímídé🙋🏾‍♀️

A British born Yoruba babe, with a deep desire to connect to my roots.
The combination of this desire with my love for togetherness and community has led to the birth of Ijoko Omo Yoruba, which translates to “the Gathering of Yoruba People”.

I hope to cultivate a community that brings the diaspora together and is dedicated to the preservation, promotion and passing on of our precious culture.
