The many various stages of making this movie. From late night writing sessions to early coffee meets, to pitching at Cannes to time on set. Editing, ADR sessions, casting, trailer edits, to everything in between.

We are so excited to see this all play out this weekend, for an audience who primarily doesn’t know us. There’s something magical in that. Obviously, it’s been nice for friends to see this, but friends hype ya up. It’s great when people see this and they have nice things to say and don’t know you, and we’re in nomination! That’s cool. Anyway, life is good and I love sharing these memories.

We went from page to stage, or most accurately “treehouse”. As several on set would say, “team work makes the dream work”.

“Seeing this movie come out of scratch notes from a dream is something very special. This is the kind of film where just the story in telling the story will give dreamers all over inspiration to pursue their own writings and ideas. It’s really inspiring how this all happened and I love sharing this with other artist. And then there’s the actual movie. I can’t wait until people can see it.”

This is Michelle. She is incredible. To those that don’t know, she was the Costume Designer, but also the entire wardrobe department. She also helped in a variety of other ways which helped this movie come to fruition.

“I remember when Kenn told me Michelle was interested in joining our little group. So went met up for a cup of Joe, and talked about the process. I told her it was going to be a tiny crew. Less than 15 people to make the movie. This won’t be like anything most of us have done. In some ways, this will feel like we’re putting on a play-we’re all gonna help each other. And she said, ’I’m in’, and there ya go.” -Anthony

These photos are only a few of the looks that were bought and built. She did so much and there’s only so many photos. In this Wednesday we want to celebrate this amazing woman. So…about last week. Last week was wild for our shoot. Most mix of locations. Remaining scenes at the treehouse, east palisades Indian trail, EAV Farmer’s market, and ending on two stages at Pangea Studios. It was a very productive week and I cannot thank the team enough for their hard work and patience as we wrapped up the Atlanta leg.

Brey and I fly to Washington state on Wednesday to shoot the final scene of the movie.

The way this has all come to be could be a movie in itself. It’s a wild story about a wild story, and I get so excited every time I get to share the how this came to be.

Cheers to you all! I can’t wait to see where this road takes us.
