It’s Black History Month, and throughout October we’re going head, shoulders, knees and toes into celebrating some of Bristol and beyond’s fantastic DJs across the whole month.

Expect everything from Afro House to Chicago, Disco to R&B cuts, and so much more.

Across five Fridays, we’ll be celebrating the artists who came before us ,the DJs, sounds and genres that helped shape the scenes we know and love today as well as the artists and sounds pushing those scenes forward.

Come and be part of something truly special.

The dancefloor can be one of the best places to break down barriers: sharing new music, discovering new sounds, meeting new people and, most importantly, dancing as one.

Five Fridays. One dancefloor. A celebration of Black music, culture, DJs and the sounds that continue to move us forward

Also joining us on Saturday to warm the party is @iziein - a DJ who’s been in the Bristol scene and contributing to the culture for years. His @swu.fm show is one of our favourites on the station and a must listen. Expect a journey through Hip Hop, Afrobeats, RnB, Edits, Neo Soul, Ama and more. Superb selections always.

🌐 It’s just over a week since “Reload Sound Presents…”with @julsbaby_ and people are still gassed about what was our best event yet. Massive Biggups and Thankyou to everyone who made it so special from the ravers to the DJ’s, hosts, venue, staff and our team. And of course a big thankyou to the don @julsbaby_

Here’s a snapshot of the vibes. We’ve got even more to come this year so stay locked to our socials for incoming event announcements. Also, we’ll be dropping a lot more content from the event in the coming weeks. 🌐
