Falls Creek 2026 was one of the best years of camp ever❤️‍🔥

5 people got saved and many other students made other decisions for Jesus! i’m thankful that i’ve gotten to serve as a leader here for the last 5 years. this week i’ve gotten to build life long relationships and more importantly i grew closer to Jesus! i will never forget all the memories we made through worship, volleyball, ziplining, dodgeball, and especially mafia😂 i love our church and Falls Creek! i can’t wait to be back next year🥳

God used @shane_pruitt78 in a big way and preached some amazing messages each night that spoke to all of us! the biggest takeaway i took from one of his messages is to never to lose your awe for the gospel! as followers of Christ, we take for granted the opportunity we have to share the gospel and disciplining one another! i know i did about a year and a half ago. just recently i started to take it more seriously because God reminded me that we are all called to share the gospel with others and help our friends and family grow closer to Jesus! also getting to meet Shane at rec fields was pretty cool too and even got a chance to share my testimony with him!

DNOW 2026 is definitely one for the books!!
I think for me personally, I was extremely stressed and overwhelmed with personal issues that felt really heavy. So heavy that I felt like I was weighing down those around me. BUT the more I leaned on my girls this weekend, leaned on the people I love I was reminded that not only is God the peace in the storm, and the center of it all… but that he will surround you with others during your chaos, that make it a little bit easier to get up in the morning, a little easier to push through those struggles; because I have people by my side who won’t let me walk through it alone.

When asked by our leaders the first night what I was most excited for for the weekend I said the vulnerability that we get to see from our peers who walk the same halls as us, who often act tough or cover everything up by being goofy and loud, and I think this weekend revealed exactly that. Getting to reconnect and be reminded why I love the girls who I stayed with this weekend means so much to me. It doesn’t matter how often we do or don’t talk it’s ALWAYS like nothing’s changed when we come together the way we did this weeknd. And seeing the boys lead one another at the altar and lay hands on each other is such a heart breaking thing to watch in the best way possible.
I also wanna add how thankful I am for my upperclassmen friends I got to visit with this weeknd and thank you for being such good role models and lights in a world that can often times be very dark. The weight that gets lifted from me when I get to have those deep conversations with people a little bit older who sometimes are a little bit wiser, is very dear to me and I’m so thankful to be friends with people who are so good at loving and caring about others.
More than anything I’m grateful for the way God moved this weeknd. Our generation I feel is the one being attacked the most bc we are so set apart from the generations before us. But just as it was talked about this weekend, the enemy deceives and it’s important to be able to differ what’s reality and what’s lies. God MOVED this weeknd and I’m so glad to have been part of it. This is war🤟🏻
