Making life happen with my best friends #thankyouJesus #onelastride? @servecamp

what. a. privilege.

i’ve said those words almost every day this summer, remembering each day, this would be my last year. i don’t think they’ve ever felt truer than they do now. twelve summers. six as a camper, six on staff.
it’s strange to realize that a place you’ve only been for a few weeks each year can shape so much of your life. i grew up here. not all at once, but little by little, every summer.

i learned how to lead here. i learned how to pay attention to people. i learned that the smallest moments are usually the ones that stay with you. a conversation on a bench, cleaning up after everyone else went home, hearing kids laugh from the next room, driving back after a long day with the windows down and people you love beside you.

i met some of my favorite people here. over the years they stopped feeling like coworkers or camp friends and just became family. we’ve watched each other grow up, celebrated the good, carried each other through the hard, and somehow always found our way back here.

i don’t know if places can be perfect, but i know they can become marked by what happens there. after twelve summers, this camp holds too many answered prayers, too many changed lives, and too much love for me to think of it as ordinary. this is my holy ground.

i don’t think you ever really leave a place like this. pieces of it have a way of showing up in the way you love people, the way you lead, the way you pay attention, and the way you choose to spend your time. i’m walking away from camp, but i’m taking a lot of it with me.

i love you all immensely.

what an undeniable privilege.

THON 2026,

WE RAISED $18,841,726.53 FTK 🎗️

this year i had the honor and privilege to dance in THON for my organization, Ohana. for those of you who don’t know, THON is a 46 hour, no sleeping, no sitting dance marathon raising money for childhood cancer research and treatment. it is the largest student run philanthropy in the world. THON and Four Diamonds, our sole beneficiary, make sure that not a single child battling cancer has to pay a single medical bill.

dancing in THON was the greatest honor of my life and i would not have been able to do it without the support of my friends, family, and amazing organization @ohana_psu . I am forever grateful to the gifts that this org has given me. #ohanaforever 💙🧡

to our 6 Four Diamonds families, the Goods, Wilsons, Dawsons, Brysiaks, Karkans and Duckers, i could not be more proud to have represented you this weekend. serving as your Family Relations chair for the past 2 years has been such a blessing and I would not trade that opportunity for the world.

to my fellow dancers, and some of my favorite people i’ve met at penn state, @kylekullman and @braydenerker , WE ROCKED IT this weekend. i could not be more PROUD of you guys!!

i am amazed every day by what a group of college students can do and i cannot wait to continue to dance until one day we dance in celebration of a cure🎗️💙🧡
