Behind the Look: CHELSIE'S DARCYS DRESS 💛 ✨

Real-life Princess @chelsiehill, dancer, content creator, & founder of @rollettes_la, hosted the red carpet at the first ever Easterseals @darcyawards, and our very own @izzy.camilleri created a customer adaptive couture gown fit for the occasion!

Designed to fit Chelsie like a glove, this stunning dress is crafted to look, feel, and function at its best while seated — down to every detail: a two-piece silhouette to make dressing easier, front skirt details to accentuate the lap, and decorative sleeves that allow for freedom of movement while pushing. Everything is beautiful and intentional. At IZ Adaptive, we believe fashion & adaptive ease go hand in hand. Zero sacrifices.

We were honored to dress the stunning & talented Chelsie for the incredible event that is the DARCY Awards, celebrating the best in authentic disability representation across media, arts, and culture. We are so proud to serve this community and thrilled to be in the company of powerhouses who make a real impact through their craft — making our world a better, more accessible, and inclusive place. We're proud to do our part in this work everyday. The future IZ adaptive! 🖤

We're reflecting on this week's @TelusBusiness #StandWithOwners Award Winners Celebration Event with with a deep sense of gratitude, pride, and honour.

Being recognized by one of Canada's largest telecom companies for a national award is a milestone for us. It reflects the dedication behind our work and our ongoing commitment to making everyday life more comfortable, accessible, and dignified for as many people as possible through our adaptive apparel.

We are incredibly honoured to receive the Future Forward Award presented by Ronan Sweeney, VP & GM, Carrier Sales & Marketing @SamsungCanada. The introduction and words shared about why we were chosen for this award will stay with us for a long time.

Silverts is almost 100 years old, yet we remain committed to looking ahead. We continue to challenge ourselves to think differently, evolve our adaptive clothing and footwear designs, and embrace new technologies that help us create more opportunities to reduce barriers for people with disabilities and older adults.

This recognition is a reminder of why we do what we do — and of the work that still lies ahead.

Thank you to @telusbusiness and @SamsungCanada for this award, and to our team, partners, and community who continue to be part of this journey. We're grateful to share this milestone with you, and inspired to keep moving forward.

We would never be here without you 💙

17-year-old me would never believe that one day I’d be hosting a Hollywood red carpet celebrating disability representation! 🥹🤍

What a full-circle moment getting to host The @darcyawards red carpet for the 2nd year! ✨ & this dress is a MOMENT! Thank you @izadaptive 👗

Being surrounded by so many incredible disabled actors, filmmakers, & advocates who are changing the entertainment industry is something I’ll never take for granted.

Representation matters. Our stories matter. And we deserve to be seen, celebrated, and included in every space. 🎬

Thank you to @eastersealssocal for having me back for another unforgettable year! Here’s to continuing to break barriers and making Hollywood more inclusive for everyone. 🤍

One week ago, we gathered in front of the red velvet curtains for our second Creative Room, Within the Fabric of Film. ⭐️

We spent the afternoon with Izzy Camilleri, Amanda Wong, and Jung Rocetes, hearing personal stories from their careers in fashion and film, what they’re looking forward to next, and, quite fittingly, the films that have inspired them most. 💙⭐️

It was a lovely afternoon of honest conversations, shared curiosity, and getting to know the people behind the work. There’s something special about bringing everyone together in such an intimate setting, and we’re grateful to have shared it with everyone who joined us at @theunitystudioto

A little peek into our second Creative Room. 💙

An intimate room, a shared curiosity, and conversations that moved between fashion, film, costume, and the creative lives behind them.

A very special thank you to @izzy.camilleri, amandawongdesigns, and @mixmixmedia for being so generous with their experiences and perspectives, and to everyone who joined us, asked questions, shared ideas, and met someone new.

Thank you for being in the room with us.
