🥟10 YEARS OF DUMPLINGS!🥟❤️❤️❤️

Today is our 10 year anniversary from opening our first restaurant in Clapton.

10 years = millions of dumplings rolled, Hundreds of thousands of happy customers through the door, And god knows how many cocktails poured:)
Creating memories, and being part of this amazingly vibrant community!

A massive thank you to all our lovely customers, brilliant staff, and supportive friends - we couldn’t do it without you!

We started out as the only restaurant on lower Clapton road serving Asian inspired food, and over the years we’ve been joined by some of the greats! All working together to bring something special to the neighbourhood.

For the few who may remember the start of this journey, and some of those faces that were there to help us shape our journey over these last 10 years, here’s a little time lapse for you all:)

And here’s to many more years of great food, good times, and making more memories:) 🥢🥟♥️

bit of a strange year, weird lil snake. thank you for having my music soundtrack any moment of it tho. played shows in more realms than expected and always overjoyed to see folk at them.

i actually finished a record this year, but kind of fell out of love with it so i started a new one that’s feeling uncomfortable and exciting.

added some sprinkles to other artist’s records and wrote music for the screens which felt like a wonderful side quest to writing my own songs. meeting music or other creative brains i admire continues to be one of the best parts of this passage.

so grateful for a pocketful of great buds who love going to shows and supporting each other along the way. but with streaming platforms investing in weapons of destruction, labels training artificial intelligence on their own artists, special small venues being shut down, massive promoters having monopolies on touring routes and young artists being raised through a system where they’re forced to juice algorithms more than ideas - it’s pretty weird out there. somehow we’ll keep the dream alive though.

this little art project continues to reveal the unexpected to me, and when i look back on the year i am really thankful, stay curious <3 x
