it took me awhile to come up with what to say, because the truth is I have SO many words for my month in Belize. The main word that comes to mind is grateful. I am DEEPLY grateful to have spent a month learning, growing, and truly experiencing and enjoying every moment with @hillsidebelize. Out of respect for my patients, I won’t be posting any photos I have with them, but know they changed my life. They shaped the occupational therapist I will be forever. I’m so thankful also for the family I met on this trip. Each and every one of you made being away from everything I love just a bit easier. I know in the future I will be back, but for now, Goodbye Belize, I’m so grateful, thankful, and blessed by everything you taught me.

This year has flown by way to fast, I am so grateful to be at Biloxi! I’ve missed E-town from the second we left town but once I stepped foot into Biloxi I knew it was where I belong, from the people to the music! I can’t wait to start sophomore year with all these amazing people but I’ll always miss my etown because that’s where my home is from my friends to the beautiful mountains!! But I am just a thankful to have experienced both lives in one year!

Such an eye-opening and life changing experience! This past week I got to serve various communities in Sarapiqui, Costa Rica. This trip was a powerful reminder of God’s goodness and faithfulness as we poured into the lives of the local communities. We had the privilege of teaching VBS to the children, sharing the love of Jesus through songs, stories, and crafts. We also provided medical care to the communities! It was humbling to see how God used our hands and knowledge to bring healing and hope to so many others. Through every smile, every prayer, and every moment of service, we saw the greatness of God at work!

I had the opportunity to serve the community of Sarapiquí, Costa Rica, this past week alongside my team and new friends. We provided medical care, including taking vitals, offering counseling, prescribing, and dispensing medications, all while sharing God’s love with those we served. After the clinics, we were blessed to pour love into the children through VBS. This experience is one I will never forget, and a piece of my heart will always remain with the wonderful people of Costa Rica! 🩵
