POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I make everybody that works with me in Tilly the Candle Bar take a “selfie video” and I’m so glad I do! Watching this makes my heart burst. Grateful for all of them! If you want to hear my awkwardness in prime display listen with the sound on 🤣💀

I almost talked myself out of this.

Not because I didn’t believe in the story…but because a small voice in my head said, “are you too old to be dressing up and becoming a character?”

And then I thought, who makes those rules anyway???

So I channeled my inner Christina, (my sister who dresses up as the tooth fairy for her pediatric dentist office), and showed up fully me. And fully me is a 42 year old in a costume . 💗🙃

And I had chills the entire time.

The kids leaned in.
They smiled.
They created.
They believed.

And while I was reading Tilly and the Glow Within, it felt like we all stepped inside the story together. ✨

Watching Izzy lead the glow jar craft while I took photos with the kids in front of Tilly… I kept thinking, this is exactly what I dreamed this could be. And here we are.

You’re never too old to create something magical.
You’re never too old to become part of the story.

If you’ve ever felt that nudge to do something that feels a little “too much”… this is your sign. 🫶💓🎉💥

Thank you for having us, @arlohendrix_kids!

When I look at these photos… I don’t just see cute kids 🥹 I see the beginning of everything.

None of us knew what we were building yet. We were just… becoming.

✨ a girl with a tiny idea in her living room
✨ a math kid who would one day help keep the dream sustainable
✨ a writer who would give our story a voice
✨ an artist who would bring it to life
✨ a teammate who would turn candle bar moments into memories
✨ a behind-the-scenes magic maker keeping it all running

And somehow… all of those paths found their way here.

Illuminate Space isn’t just candles.
It’s people.
It’s growth.
It’s figuring it out as we go and choosing to keep going anyway.

Every party you book, every product you buy, every time you share our story…you’re supporting all of this 💛

And I don’t take that lightly. Ever.

This is who we were…and this is what we’re building ✨

If you’ve ever wanted to:
🕯️ book a candle bar party
🌿 try our non-toxic cleaners + sprays
📖 grab a copy of Tilly and the Glow Within

…this is your reminder that your support truly matters here.

Thank you for being part of our glow 💛

Twice a month I open up my warehouse for walk-ins, and it’s always so special. You can make something, shop what we’ve created, or just peek behind the scenes. 🥰

My favorite moments from Saturday:

✨ Izzy running the Candle Bar on her own for the first time — and doing absolutely beautifully. 10/10
✨ A brilliant Jenga-building creation
✨ Sisters hanging out while their candles set
✨ Multiple family members stopping by to support my business
✨ Creating custom soap scents
✨ Two teachers reading the proof of our children’s book — and one even taking it to her principal to schedule an author meet-and-greet (these moments were so magical I forgot to capture any video ☺️)

And if you’ve made it this far: THE PAPERBACK IS LIVE ON AMAZON!

I’ll share an official post tomorrow, but I’ll say it again — the book Maya, Lily, and I created is ALIVE! Hardcover and Keepsake Editions coming soon 💛

Thank you for being such incredible champions of Illuminate Space. I appreciate every single one of you! ❤️‍🔥
